I am always about getting the call right on the field. There should be a way to stop teams from doing this, but I am not sure what the answer is.

The best you could do would probably be to allow the D to use a delay of game and pay the 5 yards. That's exactly what that other rule was created to prevent, however. Otherwise you're opening something up to exploitation.

This Calvin Johnson guy is insane. Think we could trade Knowshon for him before the league discovers him?

Yes, and that's why Miami kept the ball.

Amazing INT by Patrick Peterson. They said Sanchez has completed 8 passes today - 5 to his team, 3 to the Cardinals. I love it.

Dolphins needed a perfect game if they planned on winning today and it doesn't look like that's in the cards.

Will gladly dump Jordy Nelson after another erratic flame out with 1 fantasy point today with his screwed up hammy. Should have canned him weeks ago....

I'm trying to think if there has been any QB that has regressed more from his rookie season than Mark Sanchez.

If there has, it was for being a nutcase (Vince Young) or numerous people have done it for injury. In terms of just forgetting how to play, I can't think of any.

I feel for Larry Fitzgerald having absolute garbage throwing to him since Warner retired.

I think someone made a good point in saying he was at his best when the team was a dominant rushing team. That'll give someone hope that in the right scenario, he can be good.

The high scoring 49ers only manage 7 points in the 1st half with Kaepernick.

Good move to bench Smith?

The Rams always play them hard. Now that they have made the switch, they have to deal with the growing pains.

I think they should have stayed with Smith though. Growing pains can show up in any game. Colin has no playoff experience.
