Bo is on the hot seat next season for sure.

For those unaware this team getting whopped right now is Bos first recruiting class. All of his previous success was on Bill Callahans recruiting shoulders ie. Suh, Crick, Amukamara, Denard, Helu, Paul, ect.

Plus there will be a new AD in next year who didn't hire him in the first place. Still, I think he's got a fair amount of rope left—after the disaster that followed canning Solich after a 9 win season they should be trigger shy. Nebraska has an easy schedule next year (no Ohio St or Wisconsin)—so if they aren't back in the title game with a chance to redeem themselves next year, I think the following year (2014) could be a true hot seat season for Bo. His recruiting on defense looks pretty bad, they lost the speed battles all year, especially at LB.

Outside of getting LeVante David, Bo has done nothing to build this defense. It became painfully obvious two years ago when there was no depth at CB behind Prince, and Denard. The situation got even worse when Prince graduated, and Nebraska spent the entire season trying to fill his void. This season has been a disaster! Nebraskas front four is small and slow, in what world does small and slow work? The good news for NU is they get another year of Martinez, and they have a stable of running backs to keep the ground game working for the next half decade. Defensively they are a complete mess. PSU, and UoM are sure loses next season, and even if they upset one of the two they will have to face OSU in the championship game.

The lame rule that no more than two teams can represent a conference has diminished these once prestigious bowls.

I was secretly hoping for Kent State, UCLA, Georgia Tech, Rutgers in the BCS just to make a further mockery of the system.

Wisconsin should have an asterisk next to its Big Ten title as well.

Being a Nebraska fan, i knew it was over when Martinez threw the pick 6 to go down 14-0. It's funny, i was thinking that after Wisconsin drove right down the field on their opening drive and scored that Nebraska would end up turning the ball over. I wasn't mad or anything. This is how its been since Pelini took over. Nebraska in big games = Nebraska FAIL! I wouldn't be shocked if they lose their bowl game to top it all off. The D is the worst i've seen.

What is it going to take for Nebraska to can Pelini's ass? His offense doesn't cut it in today's college football world.

It's not even that the D was so bad that hurts me, it's the fact that every trick play/non traditional formation on both sides of the ball looked like something they had never seen before. I imagine the caveman discovering fire or Poland to start WWII as the only other things as ill prepared as this Husker team.

I was all ready to be happy with Bo too. Leading up to this game I heard some crazy good facts about his record that put him in elite group of coaches. All seem to be built as strong as a card house now.
