Montee Ball scores from 16 yards out to give Wisconsin a 35-10 lead in the 2nd quarter.

I honestly expected Wisconsin to win, but didn't expect this. Embarrassing. 6 game win streak aside, I never really got too big of expectations for this team post-Ohio st game. Even in a down year for the Badgers, once the QB play reached the level of competent, the talent gap became obvious.

Some special teams plays and good ole-fashioned luck might make it closer than the experts think, but a 38-10 Abalama W would not shock the cosmos. For the soul of me, my future children, and my future children's children, I hope the unthinkable never comes to fruition. That institution has been riding Rudy's coattails for 40 years. |

Some of these dumb ass coaches need to hire someone who knows exactly what needs to be done in terms of clock management and have them stand next to them all game and tell them what the **** to do....because half the time the clock management decisions are hastily made by a coach with 20 other things on his mind.
It's such a simple, yet crucial aspect to games and some of these coaches have no idea how to take advantage of and maximize the clock situation....on offense and defense. Hire someone whose main responsibility is to stand next to the head coach and help him manage the clock/time outs and maximize their opportunities. I see games lost every week where poor clock management factors into the equation. It's maddening to see a team like Georgia bust their asses all season and then blow their chance at the end of the season because of poor clock management. It would have been sweet to see Georgia pull of the upset and beat Alabama. Last edited by SouthStndJunkie; 12-01-2012 at 06:45 PM.. |

Why the hell the QB doesn't know to spike the ball with 15 seconds is mindboggling

i swear i don't understand the clock management issues that some of these coaches have had today. the UGA was just a mind cramp of epic proportions.

Ooof....42-10 Wisconsin going into the half.
It looks like Wisconsin is set at RB and has a replacement for Montee Ball in place with Melvin Gordon. Gordon has 4 carries for 152 yards and a TD in the first half. Montee Ball has 14 carries for 111 yards and a TD....Wisconsin has 290 yards rushing at the half. |

49-10 Badgers with 14 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter. Ouch.

I'm very surprised at the Wisconsin-Nebraska game. I thought Nebraska would win...by a decent margin. Wisconsin has been a shell of what they usually are this year.

I'm switching over to the Kansas State/Texas game.
Wisconsin broke off a stalk of corn and are cramming it in Nebraska's ass 49-17 early in the 3rd quarter. |

Ouch....Montee Ball scores from 57 yards out to give Wisconsin a 56-10 lead with a lot of time left in the 3rd quarter.
Now they have a backup kicker, a dude named Jack Russell, kicking extra points. I wonder if Cocker Spaniel will finish the day punting for Wisconsin? |

Florida State 21 Georgia Tech 15 4th Quarter
No one does less with more than Jimbo Fisher. GT only got to the ACCG because Miami self-imposed and UNC was not eligible. FSU should be ahead by like 25 points.

They looked pitiful at the start of the season, but have been improving and getting healthier as the season has gone on. That said, I predicted them to win, but figured it would be a close game. As I'm typing this, it appears Wisconsin scored again to take a 63-17 lead and now have 454 rushing yards with 6:42 left in the 3rd quarter. Last edited by SouthStndJunkie; 12-01-2012 at 08:01 PM.. |

That's fine, we only need 100% out of Ball for three seasons. By the time Ball is losing steam Peyton will be heading off into the sunset with 3 rings, and we can usher in a new era with Twilight, and a shiny new RB.
