oh hells yeah thats awesome every series of star trek was good , but none of em really compared to star trek the orginal series.
they didnt have a big special effect budget .so they had to have the actors carry the show and the writers .
they did one hell of a job, they tackled controversial subjects back then and made it entertaining like racism ,interracial romance , the cold war ect .
plus they came out with gadgets that was sci fi back then but we now use everyday 2 way video big screen flat screen tvs ,dvds , cartridges,
but im still waiting for transporters and warp speed starships and hand held phasers ,

When I was in the Navy did a short stint aboard it, as a visiting sonar operator. I was there to teach their sonar folks how to find the submarines out there.. just a couple of days but seeing how they lived on board was oh so happy to get back to my boat..

Hell the chow line was longer than my boat was..
