Terry McAulay is officiating this Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.

This ref is notorious for calling everything he sees. McAulay, who works for the Department of the Defense, is THE warden of NFL officials. The NFL loves his work because they have assigned him to two Super Bowls and five conference championship games since 2001.

McAulay is so trigger happy that he was one of the leading stories heading into the Green Bay-Chicago NFC Championship Game because of the fact that his crew penalized the teams 18 times during an earlier meeting in the regular season.

Before Super Bowl XLIII, my buddy actually bet the over (11 penalties) in Las Vegas because McAulay was officiating the game and it easily covered.

I guess there are fans who are really into offiating. They all blur together to me, so I actually appreciate the OP's comments. I had no idea Terry McAulay worked for the department of defense and was really strict. I think that's kind of cool. Every league needs a guy like that.

Raiders of old love it when he doesn't do their game. I wonder if this dude was the Raiders ref when they broke the record for most penalties in a game. I believe it was against SD.

I do not know what you are talking about. Looks about right to me. I'm not qualified to be a Mod though as my judgement in these things sucks as i have never seen anything that I thought showed too much.
