Ray Lewis is targeting a return to action against the Denver Broncos.

Good. He'll take snaps away from a player that is contributing. No way he is in game shape.

Either way, I still think he's not the game changing factor that he use to be so with or without him, we can win that game. There won't be any 30 yard catch and runs on 4th and 29 to save them. |

His greatest contribution will be setting the defense and as an emotional leader on the field

I'm worried it'll give the team a huge lift....like when Dawk retired this year as an Eagle and they beat the Giants that game.

I'd worry more about Suggs than anyone else on that D, including Ngata, Reed, or Ray Ray.

Not worried their D is very overrated and people think they are good because of years past.

He'll find the Broncos' much harder to kill than some poor Barber from Atlanta.

That game might not mean squat!
Why? Because more than likely it will be for 3rd seed. Meaning we would stil have to play on WC weekend. I believe the 5th seed will be the Colts and the 6th seed the Bengals. So, if we lose to the Ravens....Peyton will get the Colts during the 1st round. If we beat the Ravens...we'll get the Bengals. I'm not sure that it matters all the much, unless the following week....the #1 and #2 seed loses. So, I guess it has longer term implications....but, not the end of the world really. |

If we have to play on the divisional round I would rather play the Colts than the Bengals. Even though the Bengals have no running game they can score on anyone, and their defense is decent. The Colts on the other hand have a terrible defense, and a turnover prone offense. I like Champ v. Reggie, and Carter v. Hilton; I don't like Champ v. Green.

Of the Ravens games I've seen this year, they are vulnerable against the run. That was with Ray in there. McGahee would've been the antidote to beating the Ravens this year, IMO. I hope KM or whomever can run with enough power to get past that first level as guys like DeMarco Murray gashed 'em all day long.
