KC's lines played very well today. They were winning the battle up front most of the day. The Broncos just didn't play with the same intensity the Chiefs had. It didn't help that Prater forgot to pack his brain for the trip to KC. Always a great sign when your team can go into somebody's house, and even without their "A" game, still grind out the win.

You're right about week 17.. Thank you, if we stay on track, we'll need that loss too - for the greater good. As for the Arrowhead magic, it's gone! Pioli has, amongst other things, killed the stadium too. His love of ca-hole and the Patriot way (that wasn't much him) has torn the heart out of this franchise. And our owner is the worst in all of sports. He's a silver-spoon trust fund baby, and he's not either football smart or very smart in life either. Him owning this team will benefit our opponents for years to come.

Good luck in the playoffs guys, I wish you luck and God's speed.

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful holiday season. Go have some fun in the snow!

This wasn't a trap game, if anything, it was a trap-situation– not have McGahee, or a McGahee-type back. We need a tough runner who can run through contact and pick up the muddy yards.

Arrowhead always brings out the worst in Denver....I'll take an ugly win.

This is the kind of game Denver loses a lot of seasons.

I'm certainly impressed. Maybe that will shut up that bozo who kept whining for lance ball all week.

Man, that was sloppy at times by the Broncs. Dropped passes, Woodyard clobbering the back after a 3rd down incompletion, missed FG's after nice KO returns, Manning making bad decisions. Just barely good enough to win. The O has been stuttering for a few weeks now.

I don't give credit to Pioli very often, but today I will.

Donald Stephenson and Jeff Allen did a fantastic job today. Charles was running well on the left and Elvis Dumerville was held in pretty much the whole game.

Peyton got his bell rung by Houston, banged the back of his head pretty good. Holliday was giving Peyton the concussion drill on the sideline, asking him questions.

You don't give a GM credit for an individual game performance by a team. Pioli is a GM over a 1-10 team. Thats where his performance his measured. There are so many factors in an individual game that he exerts no control over. That goes to the players and coaches. Come on...

The Chiefs ran a LOT of max protect on their pass plays, I don't remember seeing a single pass play with fewer than 6 blockers and most had 7. I don't know why so many offensive coordinators are afraid of running max protect, any QB-WR tandem in the league can get open if you give them enough time.

Houston was a beast. That is one of the few compliments I will give KC. We just played an awful game...

I am officially concerned about Peyton's nerve problem. There were a few plays today where he missed badly and threw some ducks. I have read where in the recovery process it weakens on him and there is nothing he can do except rest his arm. It's a long season lets hope it is not taking it's toll on his regenerating nerve.
