you can add: Take a shot every time Knowshon runs for 2 yards on 1st down and the celebrates so hard he is gassed. |

I expected this and wanted this. KM ran for 950 some yards fighting nagging injuries his first year. He is great at pass protection and catching out of the backfield. He is only so so between the tackles and has some break-away abilities. He is the best choice of the remaining 3 imho and think he will do a good job. Here is hoping he stays healthy.
I believe that he was not suiting up because he doesn't play special teams and we didn't have room for a running back that was only somewhat better than 2 who did play special teams. I am no KM lover, just when I try to look at it objectively I think this is the right call. |

Moreno will be ineffective as per usual, Hillman will end up getting the majority of carries going forward.

Moreno has been OK, but that self-trip looked like it could have gone for 20 + had he kept his feet.
Meh. At least they're playing the Chefs. |

The drive before Moreno started it off with a 4 yard run then caught another two passes for 14 yards. Moreno isn't the reason the O is lagging. |

4.3 yards per carry is fairly effective actually. Just another guy with irrational hate for the guy. He isn't great, but he's our best option right now. I do kind of expect him to get injured, but until that happens I'm glad we have the guy. The thought of relying on Hillman gives me a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Expected. Even if he were to go for 100+, people would pull the usual "he missed holes, etc.....everyone else could do better" crap.

Based on what I've seen Moreno deserves another start next week. Kid has run hard and finished well. Although I really wish they'd work Hillman into the mix more today too.

On our two TD drives he has 42 rushing yards on 6 carries. Just enough to help keep the D honest.

It's pretty simple and people make it difficult.
Moreno is a talented back. He can't stay healthy. This is a perfect opportunity for him to make an impact in the short term. It's not his talent that's a problem, it's his body. We'll see if he can buck his past trends. |

I took 3 Shots today. I used to play "take a shot every time Peyton Manning audibles"........ Yea that didn't last long.

Definitely helped his case a good deal today. 110 all purpose is plenty enough for Manning. Did a great job reading blocks and making people miss, maybe there's life in him yet...

He usually gets over 100 APY whenever he plays. Not surprised. Good job.

111 yards on 24 total touches for Moreno
107 yards on 23 total touches for Charles. Moreno was not the reason the offense was sputtering. |

Moreno was solid in crunch time. He had some good runs and good hard nosed yards late in the 4th.
He did ok today. |

I thought Knowshon did a good job. KC was winning the battle of the lines today and Moreno fought for some good yardage. He's still got a good burst when he gets to the hole.
