![]() Denver Broncos (7-3) VS. ![]() Kansas City Chiefs (1-9) ![]() Game Time: 11:00 AM Mountain Time Location: Arrowhead Stadium | Kansas City, MO Forecast at Kickoff: TV Broadcast: CBS | Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf (thanks to the crappy chiefs) Radio broadcast: 850 KOA ![]() NFL Scores ESPN NFL Scoreboard CBS Sportsline NFL Scoreboard Broncos Team Home Page NFL.com Game Center Broncos Roster Depth Chart ![]() Orange Mane It's All Over Fat Man! Max Denver BroncoTalk Mile High Report Denver Post CBS 4 Denver ABC 7 Denver Fox 11/31 Denver NBC 9 Denver ![]() Lets just cut to the chase. The Kansas City Chiefs suck and are the worst team in football. A team many "experts" predicted would be the surprise of the division....... idiots. This will be the 104th meeting between the two teams. Kansas City holds the advantage with a 56-47-0 record, I just threw up in my mouth. The last time these two teams met and offensive explosion of awesome broke out in the final game of the season. When the dust cleared the final score was 7-3 Chiefs and the Broncos miraculously backed into the playoffs. We do not need to get into the details further than that. Everyone has beat that mullet to death. Potent Potables Heading into this game, the Broncos have scored at least 30 points for 5 straight games. The longest streak in franchise history. QB Peyton Manning is tied with Elway for the second most wins by a starting quarterback in NFL history. WR Brandon Stokley is just the 11th player in NFL history to post 30 receptions and five touchdowns after entering a season aged 36 or older. LB Von Miller has totaled the most tackles for a loss (23) in the NFL this season. He is ranked second in the league with 13 sacks. DE Elvis Dumervil has forced six fumbles, the most by a Bronco in a single season since Dennis Smith in 1985. K Matt Prater is an NFL best in the fourth quarter or overtime, amassing a stunning 35-of-36 made kicks. He is 7-7 in this current season. P Britton Colquitt ranks second in the NFL with a 43.7 net punting average. He has a league low 3.7 yards per punt return this season. Talk about a turnaround in special teams these past two years! What to Watch For CB Champ Bailey needs one interception to tie Tyrone Braxton for fourth most in Franchise History, with 34. WR Eric Decker With his 8 TD's on the season he only needs one more receiving touchdown to set a career high. DE Elvis Dumervil needs only one forced fumble to pass Dennis Smith for the most by a Bronco in a single season. Note: this stat has only been tracked since 1984. QB Peyton Manning needs 25 passing yards to pass Dan Marino for the second most 3,000 yard passing seasons in NFL history. He only needs one passing touchdown to represent his 14th season with 25 or more passing TDs, extending his current record. With 31 more completions he will also pass Dan Marion for the second most in NFL history. LB Von Miller needs four more sacks to tie Elvis Dumervil for the most sacks in a single season in Franchise History WR Demaryius Thomas needs 67 more receiving yards to post his first career 1,000 yard season and the 31st 1,000 yard receiving campaign in team history. ![]() Denver Broncos Robert Ayers DE | Groin | Probable Omar Bolden CB | Concussion | Questionable Virgil Green TE | Hamstring | Probable Ronnie Hillman RB | Hamstring | Probable Chis Kuper | Ankle | Probable Knowshon Moreno RB | Groin | Probable Tracy Porter CB | Illness | Probable Demaryius Thomas WR | Knee | Probable Derek Wolfe DE | Quadriceps | Probable Chiefs Branden Albert T | Back | Doubtful Jon Asamoah OL | Thumb | Questionable Jon Baldwin WR | Head/Neck | Probable Dwayne Bowe WR | Neck/Back | Probable Ryan Lilja G | Knee | Questionable Steve Maneri | TE | Ankle | Probable Tony Moeaki TE | Shoulder/Back | Probable ![]() CB Tracy Porter on his status: "I finally made the plane. Now we'll see if I make the field." DE Elvis Dumervil on needing only one more forced fumble to break the franchise record set in 1985: "For real? That was when I was 1 year old." Head Coach John Fox on Von Miller's abilities: "Some people do it with length, with their reach. Some people do it with leverage - great hands and great leverage. Some guys do it with speed. Von does it with sheer everything." QB Peyton Manning on Thanksgiving and preparing for the game: "I think it's important that a good football team can still have a good practice on a holiday situation like this, but still realizes what a special day it is to be with your family and friends and thankful for our many blessings." I might be one of the few...this game feels a lot more like a preseason game than a regular season game with a rival. I'm not even remotely intrigued by this game unless Twilight gets some PT in the second half. |

K.C. has plenty of talent. Quinn will play his heart out....this is a huge game for him. They have a great Running Game. They have a solid front seven. Bowe is back. They have nothing to lose. They are at home in Arrowhead.
Hopefully our guys no better than to over look them! Throw the records out the door. |

I doubt seriously that the veteran leadership of Peyton and Champ, not to mention Fox, JDR, and Elway will let them overlook KC....they will keep this team focused....Broncos win big 35-13

Von will one-up Smith's single game sack output, and regain his status as the NFL's Master Sacker.

We should win this comfortably, but stranger things have happened.
A couple of big plays go against us in the early stages, Kansas get a bit of a lead, and you never know what could happen. I'm hoping we come out and play solid, if we don't make any stupid mistakes I don't think they can beat us. I'm honestly not expecting a major blowout though, just get the W and no major injuries and I'm happy for the week. 27-13 to Denver is my prediction. |

I suppose it depends which Chiefs team shows up this week.
If it's the team that played the Ravens and Steelers tough and beat the Saints, then it could be an ugly struggle. If it's the team that lost by double digits at home to a weak Raiders crew and that was utterly blown out by the Bengals, Bills and twice by Phyllis, then it'll be over long before the final gun. |

32-3 imo, possibly 32-0. Dunno where they get the points from in all honesty and our offence will have a similar output to the last two weeks and find it reasonably difficult
