Default Buccs game was almost flexed

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci...ncos-stays-put

They were talking about this on the radio yesterday. I think the Buccs can make the playoffs. Don't be surprised if they give us a run for our money. If it wasn't at home I'd say that's our next loss.
Quote:
NBC's "Sunday Night Football" was eyeballing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Broncos game Dec. 2 as a potential matchup the network wanted to flex from its originally scheduled 2:05 p.m. MST kickoff to 6:30 p.m.

In the end, no changes were made. NBC prime time will be stuck with the dud game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

Thank god I got the Ticket for free...I think all but one game has been on local TV. A little surprising they didn't flex it.

IF we keep Martin in check, we win. I am not overly afraid of passing offenses predicated on the long ball.

I disagree. Tampa Bay has THE WORST pass defense in the league. I'd say that bodes pretty well for Manning.....

The article suggests the short week would hurt the Broncos' competitive advantage, but I honestly think it was because the game is one of the few Fox gets with Manning in it and so they raised a stink.

Damn. Iggles and Pokes is a horrible game. Collingsworth will be unable to disguise his disdain.

Headline should read:

Does anyone else feel that watching Dallas Cowboys football is about as boring and awful as watching paint dry? I love watching the NFL, but cannot stand watching the cowboys.

it seems as if a lot of games come close to being flexed and than someone raises a issue with it and it never happens.

You never found that classic pic he posted that we all captioned? (girl with writhing on tee shirt)

I'd do it myself but when I use the search function it takes me to a blank white page, Anyone else having that problem?

That's what I was thinking. I hope that one is flexed. SF vs NE is a pretty good game though, I doubt we jump it.

The Baltimore game can get flexed to the late game timeslot but that's it. I hope it does. Hate skipping church for football, but I'd have to make an exception and fake an illness if they don't flex it. Not gonna miss a second of that game.

I'd go to the 6:00 pm service and we're good. It's just my wife loves to rip me for my passion for the Broncos and would get highly pissed if I was honest with her. So it would be about fooling her, not God.

Lets just hope the game gets flexed to the late game timeslot.

I'm thinking about donating my Broncos/Bucs tixs to a charity auction for my Aunt's 501c3... would be weird if they flexed it. Bidders might assume them fake with the wrong time on them.
