Von Miller won DPOW, bringing the total of Broncos winning weekly awards to six.

On the strength of a three-sack performance against the San Diego Chargers, linebacker Von Miller took home his second career Defensive Player of the Week Award for Week 11.

In addition to sacking Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers three times last Sunday, he forced two fumbles and registered six tackles — two of which were for a loss.

Miller’s three sacks led the AFC for the week, and he is now the only AFC player to record at least three sacks and two forced fumbles in a game in 2012.

You mean 6 out of ten possible weeks. Out of sixteen teams every week, it's actually pretty impressive.

What's impressive is how diverse the list is; Offense, defense and special teams. And when you look at the body of work, we're beating people in all phases - sometimes leaning more on one than the other - but different areas and players have stepped up every game.

What's really got me optimistic is so many of the players are young and can get better.

I know but it's not just our games, it's out of all the games for the AFC. That's much harder to have one person standout. And consider that it is six individuals, not one super-star every week.

Yeah just speaking on talent. There's still plenty of room to grow. Kuper coming back will definitely help.

By my count we still need talent at:

1 safety
Mlb
1 WR

And dependent on wtf is going on with Porter, 1 CB

And depth at O and D Ls per usual

Manny Ramirez scares the **** out of me. More OL depth please. Not to mention if Koppen goes down we're in real trouble. I think our starting talent on the Oline is first class, and we have a few suitable backups, but it gets very sketchy very quickly after that. I'd love to draft an interior lineman in the first 3 rounds next year.

I'm curious to see how creative McCoy is going to get with the running game without McGahee. He has a chance to add some unexpected wrinkles. Maybe we can add a rookie of the week vs KC this weekend!

Every team is like that. And we did draft some guys who will come back next year and hopefully be better.

It is remarkable that 6 different players across all 3 units have gotten awarded. Of the 33 awards handed out, we have been eligible to win 30, we have picked up 6 (1 in 5), by random chance we should only have won 2 (1 in 16).

This team is talented and well coached - that is a deadly combination.
