I'm not sure DJ making a couple of tackles 11 games into the season is cause for celebration. Dude let his team and fans down repeatedly. On the upside, as many have speculated here... he was expendable with Woodyard being available to fill in and there has been no drop-off in play, and arguably improvement.

DJ can be a help coming off of the bench, which works just fine.

It will be interesting to see what becomes of Williams and Mays in the off-season. Either way, Wesley has been impressive, Miller dynamite and situational players like Irving and Trevathan have made some impact plays when necessary. Don't think ol' Keith will have a future with us outside this year and Stevie Johnson isn't something to write home about.

Lets hope JDR sticks around for a while and can continue to help these players go. The younger players in our secondary seem to be improving as well. Hopefully we can keep building upon that and have a foundation for the future. A defense getting better than what we have with a clicking offense and we will be deadly. We just need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. We are our own worst enemies.

DJ he inherited and the book is out on that one given he hasn't coached him up yet. We will know more on JDR's effect on DJ by seasons end.

Mays is the head scratcher because he was signed to the big bucks contract on JDR's watch but he is on IR so there are still ?s as to his future development, maybe he needs more time in JDR's system.

The others are still unknowns but Danny looks like a nice player and I see Irving on the field more and more making plays and that's just the line backers.

Time will tell what they do. For that matter might go after UFA for their RB needs much like Ma Gahee. I would think that there are a few that would love to play in DEN after our recent success. Knowing they get enough carries to be good but not to many to shorten their career.

Hell they may use that number one to replace Clady who we can no longer afford at a position of less stature than it was ten years ago.
