This is rather laughable. What you call race baiting, I call appealing to your constituency. "White male" is a numerical minority to "not White Male". It's not the fault of the Democrats that the Republicans are unable to appeal to more than one demographic at a time.

Ah, but it's both! That tells us much about the Democratic Party and their new constituency. They've totally lost the white blue collar vote and their only fall-back is appealing to Yuppies, illegal aliens, and identity blocs.

And as I stated, Democrats have only themselves to blame for losing the white blue collar vote. Basically the only whites willing to support them now are Yuppies, college brats, feminists, and progressive bobble-heads. The DNC has absolutely crashed and burned with mainstream middle America, which like it or not is still the majority in this country and is over 70% of the voting base.

So, what are the Democrats going to do besides race bait as a way of winning back mainstream support? THIS is the question. I really hope the DNC isn't going to bet on identity blocs and hipsters in the long run.

If you wish to rely on extremely tentative and misreported demographics projections based on a string of specific, narrow events as a life raft for your politics, help yourself. It certainly doesn't tell us what you're going to do about your continued and growing lack of popularity among the majority of Americans.

EDIT: Keep in mind that Reagan's 1986 amnesty didn't purchase him any Latino votes, so don't cling onto that thought too hard.

I don't "have to believe" anything. I do two things: I observe, and I read. About half of the "immigration" we see and are expected to see is based on illegal aliens; coming, staying, and bringing more. They are included in these population projection totals. This is due to one thing: No law enforcement and no real attempts to repatriate them. I would only hope that the Democrats aren't so hopelessly out of touch with the mainstream that they can only find salvation in amnestying people in hopes of purchasing votes (again, this didn't work for Reagan in '86), especially considering they continue to claim to be the "party of the American worker."

Obama bled over 6 million-something votes in 2012. The writing is on the wall. Apparently the Democrats think the solution is to give up on Americans and try to cast their lot with bobble heads, weirdos, angry identity blocs, and illegal aliens.
