Gotta love the positive attitude. I was pretty down on Moreno in the first few weeks of the year, but I'm definitely rooting for him to have a break-out game this week.

And honestly, I believe him to be genuine. From the sidelines, Moreno (in street clothes) is always one of the first guys to chest bump or high-five a teammate after a big run. Honestly, I was rooting for them to cut the guy during preseason, but now I really hope that he shows us something. He's going to get his chances. Ball sucks and you're not going to give a 21-year-old 185 pound back like Hillman 20 carries.

Even if you think Knowshon sucks, he owns the Chiefs. Over 550 combined yards and 5 TDs in 5 games.

My answer would be

I have no clue how Moreno would perform. He's been inactive for 9 weeks. I'm sure he's fresh but hasn't seen live bullets in awhile. Sometimes he looks pretty good, sometimes he dances too much and does nothing. I do know that there is no way Hillman can run between the tackles on a consistent basis. Moreno does make the most sense right now. He's also very decent at picking up the blitz. So I think he's active this week and gets 10 touches and maybe 16 plays. He is a much better option for pass plays where he will be blocking then Hillman. Hillman just doesn't have the size and strength to pick up blitz.

You see it as positive attitude , I see it as not wanting to get cut and loses the rest of his contract money.

Do not remember his contract but thought it was in the 4+mil a year area. Divide that by 16 and it is a good chunk of change to piss away by not doing what the boss man says.

I hope he turns out to be the second coming of TD. But I'm not holding my breath.

Unless I missed something about Ball being injured, I still see Ball getting the majority of the snaps.

He has been with Manning a few years and understands the O better. Vs Moreno who has been playing scout squad.

Glad I was one that said don't cut him as he is insurance. Better than anything on the scrap heap. Just hope not too much rust on that tender body.

what does Bell's success or lack of success have to do with Moreno's success or lack there of?

Two different systems....RB's that were successful in ZBS have sometimes looked lost in other running systems....and vice versa.

im not lobbying for the cell phone guy to be signed. i see you probably didnt look at the stats. KM's longest run in 4 years is 36 yards.cell phone guy, 68 in one season 51 in another so all runs in between are unknown. both played short seasons but cell phone guy came out of the kiosk in 2008 and had a better season than KM starting fresh in 2011. explain how old man buckhalter did fine and old man mcgahee run fine behind the exact same offense? KM and T Bell both fell down if a slight breeze hit them. but given a little room t bell could at least break a long run.

According to an interview with him. He said it has been nice to allow his injury to completely heal. ..

So let's see if he makes something of it.

If he makes it on the field at all other than to spell Ball.
