I think he'll be less effective than McGahee was but generally fill that same role if he ends up as the starter.
Given that Hillman was given the ball 3 straight carries at the end of the last game tells me he will be the starter next week and I think he's going to have a great game. |

They'll have to respect Manning, and Knowshon will have a monster game...

You left out the option,
Continually run into his own lineman until he takes one of them out for the game. |

It think Manning will throw over 300 yards with multiple scores, While Von has another monster game. Resulting in the run game being just a fraction of the reason they get a win.

A quote from Moreno this week:
“(Sitting out the past eight weeks has been) tough,” said Moreno. ”You just want to go out there and help your team win. I took the approach where I was helping my team win in practice, doing any type of special-teams or scout team work that I needed to do to help the team win. That’s the approach I was taking.” “You just never know when your chance is going to be. When your chances do come, you’ve got to make the most of those and go about it the right way. I think that’s where I was.” Gotta love the positive attitude. I was pretty down on Moreno in the first few weeks of the year, but I'm definitely rooting for him to have a break-out game this week. |

Run faster to the sidelines after a score, so he can celebrate, than he ever does actually on the field, especially between the tackles.

Seriously though, hopefully he can make some big plays in the screen game.

I'm really hoping he goes "all crazy legs" and does really well. It would be great if he becomes the 'back everyone was expecting. Someone posted a highlight clip in another thread that was pretty cool. It showed how he is capable of good vision and can stop/start on a dime to make tacklers miss and get some extra yards (even a TD on one of those plays). That may have shown ALL of his good runs, but if he can be more consistent, it will be fun to watch. It's too bad that I mainly remember him dancing around in the backfield and getting tackled for a loss.

I expect the usual tap-dancing, jazz hands. Then he'll break a big run, it'll look like a score, and someone will punch the ball out from behind and he'll roll an ankle. Then at after the break we'll see him getting a massage and he'll fall off the massage table.
Tip: It's far less frustrating to watch Moreno play football if you imagine the Benny Hill theme in your head whenever he |

For whatever reason he seems to have success against KC
I am sure he will have a good game I would like to see us to run it down their throats all game Not to take a team lightly, but I think this would be a good game to try and establish a physical running game to build on for the future |

As much as I'd like to think he'll have a monster game, I just don't see him getting enough touches to make it happen. This is his first game back....and while he's technically been practicing every day as if he's going to play each Sunday, he hasn't actually played in games, so I assume they'll break him in a little slowly.
I'm thinking 10 or so carries. 5 or so targets in the passing game. 70+ combined yards, protect the ball and maybe get a TD. That would be plenty. Certainly good enough, but not a "monster game." |

Platoon with the other backs on the roster to do just enough to get Manning over 300 yards and three touchdowns.

He will look good because of the garbage stats. Basically garbage stats start at kickoff versus the Chiefs. I think he should play to see if there is anything worth keeping on the roster. If he plays, he will have 3 catches for 37 yards, 5 runs for 23 yards. Good productive numbers. He won't have enough chances to fumble. Oh, ground causes fumble will be one thing that will happen to him.
Only way he gets more carries is if Ball is ineffective. |
