How bad have things gotten for the Chefs? They are actually killing people.

My apologies if this was posted in another thread somewhere, but I thought this was hilarious.

This family obviously has a sense of humor. Of COURSE, the Chiefs didn't kill this man. I think they are trying to find some good, in a bad situation...

That's cool and looks like they were honoring their father's sense of humor.

I don't care where the Chiefs are at. I hate them, and I have no pity for them. I hope the Broncos stomp them into a paste.

I remember this game so well. I went to my friend's house who is a chefs fan and oh man he was about to destroy his big screen.

That was top 3 fantasy performance.

I bet the Chiefs give an effort like they gave to the Steelers. Not enough to win...but enough to not be the blowout that people expect.

I believe by standard scoring it is still #1 greatest (since the started tracking fantasy).

BVP's shining moment in Broncodom. Draw play TD run and we still lost :-(

4. Mike Anderson, RB, Denver Broncos — 49.60 fantasy points (2000)

It’s somewhat odd that two Denver Broncos made this list, but neither of them are named Terrell Davis. Anderson, the originator of the Mile High Salute, earned kudos from fantasy owners for running roughshod over the New Orleans Saints as a rookie.

He should get an exemption this week. I would love to hear him tell us how much better the 1-9 Chiefs are than Denver. I mean didn't you hear, they drafted Poe.

Lately he's trying to explain that the Broncos are the same as the Chiefs and haven't accomplished anything. He also believes since only one team wins the super bowl, the 31 other teams are all effectively the same. Then he finishes by making fun of some player from six or seven years ago, like Ashley Lelie.

I was always under the impression that Mike Anderson invented the Mile High Salute. Can anyone find a pic or video of TD doing it before MA was in the league?

EDIT: the Broncos website says it was in use during the Super Bowl years (therefore pre-MA). Well there ya go!

TD started it but Anderson revived it as a tribute to Terrell Davis

I think the author intended to say "Terrell Davis, originator of the Mile High Salute" but it got turned around somewhere along the line and an editor with a poor grasp of Bronco history let it through.

I remember Davis explained it in his autobiography. Master P had a group or a song called "No Limit Soldiers" that several of the players were really into, and so they adopted a soldier theme with the salute during the Super Bowl and 2000 yd seasons, and it obviously took off from there.

The salute is even mentioned directly in the awesome radio call on KOA at the end of the game. You hear it in all of the Broncos superbowl recaps
