It's doable. Will Stanzi lay down for him Favre style to get the record?

And you put all that effort into it. Can't imagine what it would look like if you half assed it

Chiefs might have 3 of their starting OL out this game so it is definitely possible.

Thomas holds the sack record at 8. He got this on Dave Krieg and the funny thing is that Seattle still beat the Chiefs in the game.

He's basically on pace for 21 sacks, and it seems like he's getting better week by week. One more monster game could put him on pace to break it.

the problem is the Chiefs and the Browns aren't going to throw the ball all that much.

Actually it was 7.

I was at that game. 50 yard line seats. DT had a few missed sacks in that game (including the last play when they won). I've never seen any pass rusher take over a game like DT did. Seattle was triple teaming him and he still got through. DT was extremely close to having 10 sacks that game.

What's even more incredible about it is that he did it in a more conservative league. The NFL has gone extremely pass heavy now giving pass rushers more opportunities to sack the QB.

Miller is making a push for DPOY. I'll be just fine with that.

I remember this talk when Dumervil was a sack machine and even last year there was talk about Miller maybe getting there then he busted his thumb. I don't want to jinx it this year.

This could be argued both ways. QBs hold on to the ball longer, but also have more protection than ever before both in rules and game schemes. I think thats why you see so many sack records in the mid to late 80s and early 90s. Reggie White, LT, DT...

Aldon Smith might pass Von tonight. 3 sacks in the first half against that god awful putrid Chicago offensive line.
