If Florida State didn't **** the bed against the Wolfpack we would be raping at the top of the charts. I still would put money on FSU over any team in the world for the 'ship. EJ Manuel has stepped up his game this year and Freeman and Wilder have been great with Thompson being out.

Pretty easy to win if they always have a team playing a home game for the title…and it helps when two teams from the same division get into the finals…

I totally get the not buying into them theme you have had going on all year. I have some questions about them as well. But at this point it is looking like plain old hate.

That fact that no other bowl eligible team has a perfect record at this point says something about them. The fact that they have beaten four ranked opponents (10, 18, 17, and 8 at the time they played), two of them on the road, says something about them. They beat the very same Stanford team that just trounced the #1 team in the nation in Oregon their own house. And they are doing it with a Freshman QB.

As expected Miami has announced that for the second year in a row it will self impose a bowl ban and also any postseason ban (with a win vs Duke this week we would win the Coastal and qualify for the ACCCG against FSU).

So we've now given up 2 Bowls and a potential conf. Title game on our own. And we've cooperated throughout. We better not get slammed even with a LOIC charge.

BTW I agree with this decision 100 percent. Good job Donna.

Wait...so if you guys win the Coastal, you're not going to play in the ACCCG? With UNC out as well, that makes the ACCCG game a complete joke this season.

The end of that article suggests that Connecticut would be the likely candidate to join the ACC. I don't see the Big East even existing in a couple years...

I'm hearing we will also self impose some ships. It goes back to what Golden said in August that he was going to intentionally play with 80 this year. BTW the NCAA will be issuing show cause penalties to the Alabama OL coach the Louisville DL coach and a few more.
