Today was probably the last time he'll coach against the Broncos as a Chargers coach.

I don't think it happens this week, but he's minimum gone at the end of the year. I'll say after week 14 when they're eliminated.

It should be tomorrow, but I think Reid is going first. Norv might make it another week. Why keep him until the end? Show all those underachievers that no one is safe.

I think Norv being canned soon depends on if Spanos wants AJ Smith as his GM.

Norv looked cool as hell in rocking his rose colored aviators on the sideline. He looked very Marty like.

They have a damned fine team, loads of talent he tried his best to keep them in the game..
I have no idea what happened to rivers he was a really good QB a couple of years ago.. Maybe getting the snot beat out of you just does things with your head.. He looked really strong in the last part of the game,, about the time it seemed like we went into prevent and did not HOLD out foot to their throats.. we were up then they pulled off the onside lick and we were not ready for it.. it was to easy in the last part of the first half and we started to coast.. they got BIG MO back and it could have went either way.. At one point in the third Quarter they had 52 yards of offense.. I see it as inconsistency from lots of young players.. and lack of leadership from the old vets.. |

San Diego and KC should do a 1-for-1 trade reminiscent of the Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey trade.
Send Norv to KC for Romeo Crennel straught up! |

But you think the owner would do that to a guy he has essentially supported all these years?
You are right, eagles fans are gutless but I think Lurie will let Reid run out the string. I also think Reid will get a job next season right away. |

Suppose McCoy gets a head coaching gig after this season and Norv lasts long enough to get canned at the end. Thoughts about Norv becoming the Broncos OC?

More worried about who we will get to be our DC bc JDR is going to get another HC gig and with his son Luke graduating this year, there is no reason to stay in Denver... Except that he will be relatively close to OkSt. But KC is also relatively close...

I don't see JDR leaving unless it is for a good organization, not for one that is rebuilding like the chefs.

I bet they can rebuild faster with Norv as HC then they can with Rivers as QB. Rivers has turned the ball over 46 times over the last 26 or 27 games. He should be getting the blame.

Reid's checked out man. Left McCoy in the game down 25 under 2 mins. He gets a concussion future status up in the air. Got asked about it at the post game presser and said "We were trying to win the game" REALLY?
Empty cardboard boxes to clean out there offices for: Reid, Norv, Pat Shurmur, and probably Rex Ryan and Ron Rivera. Romeo and Dennis Allen probably get a pass since their teams are too cheap to eat their contracts and admit they made McDaniels sized mistakes. Does Shanny "retire" at season's end? I see a lot of turnover in the ranks during and after this season Where have all the good coaches gone ![]() |

Please keep him for another 2 years. If not I think McD would be a great candidate.
