It's a TD cause they consider the catch already made before the goaline. So the ball just had to cross it.

Why should this be different than Calvin Johnson's situation? He had possession of the ball with 3 steps, but his don't count because he was already in the endzone when he caught it?

Why call the timeout? They would have recovered the kick

I thnk that's fair I think I get it. Although announcers misspoke.

He had posession BEFORE the end zone. Therefore, TD as the ball breaks the plane. If he caught in the air in the endzone, then he must retain possession after hitting the ground (which he did not)

I am wondering this as well, but from a competition standpoint, WTF should it matter if control of the ball is established before the crossing the goalline or not?

It's like a running back or QB jumping over the goaline. Once that ball crosses the line it's a score even if someone knocks it out. They are saying the completed catch happened before he crossed the line.

You have to finish every catch. What a stupid cheaterhead call. You can't catch the ball near the back of the endzone and then drop it when you hit the ground. It shouldn't be different just because it's the front of the endzone. What a horrible call.

Just don't fumble. I'll trust our D with 20 seconds and not TO for SD.

Wait now I am negative? I love how it's all depending on your own beliefs.

I was one of the few who told everyone it was ok early in the year when everyone was jumping off the ledge.

Please spare me the bull ****.

All I ever said was the Panthers and this game have not been good enough. People were freaking out over the bengals win when I specifically called that a good win.

So how am I negative, again? Or is it that just because you are ok with this game you feel the need to attack others who don't agree with you?

Because Calvin Johnson didnt catch his before the EZ...he caught it in the EZ and then it came out after his hand hit the ground. Alexander crossed the line with it before his hand came down.

Dont matter, game over anyways.

The only horrible run would be if it was fumbled.
