NDSU playing Illinois State today for the MVC title. Close game -- 17-14, Bison down by 3 at halftime.

Denard Robinson will be playing on the next level....but it won't be at QB.

In the NFL, I'd play him in the slot primarily on offense and might even line him up at RB for a few plays to keep teams thinking.

I could see Denard making a big impact on special teams....he has legit late 4.2/early 4.3 speed and the moves and cut back ability to go with it.

That speed and ability to make people miss translates to the pro game.

I'm going to guess that some teams will look at that speed and those open field skills and wonder if he might not be the next Devin Hester, who I think Denard's explosiveness reminds me of.

Devin Hester is 5'11 and 190 pounds and Denard Robinson is 6'0 and 197 pounds....but I bet he weighs closer to 190 pounds.

I'll predict that some team will be enamored with his big play potential and will draft him early in the 3rd round.

He could sneak into the bottom of the 2nd round ala Devin Hester....or he could fall as low as the 4th round.

UCLA is kind of letting USC back in it, here. The guy going out of bounds on 3rd down was dumb and Locke put it right there on the goalline but they couldnt keep it in.
