Most the Teboners I know have been pretty quiet. Peyton put the kboosh on a lot of their nonsense.

Why is it so wrong to still like Tebow and hope that he does well? I never thought that he was in any way a better QB than Manning, but he is fun to watch play and the most likeable player in the league. I wish him the best.

I definitely don't agree with this, and I like Tebow. There is a large group of people that hate him just for who he is and the attention he gets - most of it undeserving.

It wasn't really about liking him. That wasn't the problem. The problem were bozos blaming anyone and anything as the reason tebow wasn't good. Decker and DT were blamed. The Oline was blamed. Coaches were blamed. Refs were blamed. Trainers blamed. I even heard one clown say the footballs weren't inflated enough, causing wobbles. Liking him is one thing. Delusion is another.

My favorite was Elway and the coaching staff were supposedly intentionally sabotaging him because they were jealous. So Elway goes and signs Manning and declares his mission is to make Manning unequivocally the best ever - clearly something a man paranoid about his ego would do.

Spider... The joke of the Orangemane. Pretty damn sad.

Tebow is and has been gone. I guess some kids will never grow up.

I just can't figure out the hatred. The kid gave us one of the most exciting seasons we've had since the Plummer days. Won a playoff game. Absolutely some of the wildest football I've ever seen. What a great season.

So, we've replaced him with a Hall of Fame'r. Clearly, there's no need to look back. Life is good. Yet, so many seem to need to trash the guy as if he chose to leave town, chose to be our QB or chose for things to go the way they did.

I wish him well and hope he starts somewhere. It's a train-wreck, but fun to watch!

As for OUR team... there's no need to even discuss the QB position at this point. We're blessed beyond belief.

It's more a reaction to the conspiracy theorist teboners. There is also some religious bigotry. See: Blart and Tailgate nut.

IMO, The religious bigotry is still the most disturbing aspect of the Tebow phenomenon. Sad too.

He kinda sets himself up for it with things like trying to trademark "kneeling to pray" though. *shrug*

People who hate religion are coming from a totally emotional place. In fact you can say that about anyone who hates anything.
