So Marines are rude and obnoxious and unworthy of a seat on a ski lift next to you as well?

Furthermore, if your a Marine who happens to be from Texas your doubly screwed in your eyes.

Wow

He never said he "hated" Texans. Or Marines.

Your argument is invalid.

Hate? I don't hate them. I just don't want to listen to them tell me over and over and over again how being a Marine, or a Texan, makes them better than everybody else.

You bashing a state is rich. California is by far the most corrupt, ethically challenged state out there. Granted its beautiful, unfortunately full of morally challenged people.

Texas sucks ass. Just break off Austin from the rest and place it somewhere normal and we will be all good.

Being called "corrupt" and "ethically challenged" by a Texan is like being called "ugly" by a frog.

Of course, we already know the religious right's understanding of "morality" is a stunning exercise in hypocrisy, so that makes your comments all the more amusing.

Next time a Marine tells you they're better than everyone else, say, "Really? Because I thought Marine stood for My Ass Riding In Navy Equipment."

I can vouch for Texans for being ****ty on the slopes. Had some dudes from there (and Oklahoma) who thought they could go down a few runs in just jeans and cotton socks. They were by far the best tippers though. Talk to them about God, Longhorns and Sooners and you were a shoe-in for cash. Had 5 dudes in a row put a 20 dollar bill in my pocket because I talked about how I saw Josh Heupel play in high school.

Texans can't drive for **** either. In the last week I've run across three completely idiotic Texas drivers all on the same trip.

1.) A moron who thought doing 65 on a snowpacked, curvy mountain road in a big honkin' dually 3/4 ton truck was a good plan (speed limit 50)

2.) Another moron on a different steep, curvy mountain path who apparently doesn't know what the settings other than 'D' on on his transmission are for, who subsequently managed to overheat his breaks from riding them for 20+ miles. Also thinks blind, narrow curves are a great place to pull 1/2 out of the lane and try to wave someone by (rather than numerous, explicitly designated pulloffs).

3.) Another idiot doing 25 in a 35 because a few snow flakes are falling (ground totally dry, flakes were evaporating before even hitting the ground) who proceeds to try to take his half out of the middle when the road widens to 2 lanes.

GD flat-landers with over-inflated egos. Drivers should have to pass a mountain driving competency test before being allowed to cross in to Colorado.

The Federal government did not take over the States. The States joined together voluntarily when we were a lot weaker compared to the rest of the world.

We came together as a free society. That means we can dissolve it voluntarily. Just letting us talk about seccession can force real change. Nobody wants to secede unless there is just no hope for reform. If it's treason to discuss our last resort, then the power really has shifted away from the people to a centralized elite.

Says who? It's not anywhere in the Constitution because it would go against everything in the Declaration of Independence. It's the right of the people to abolish the government when it becomes destructive to our unalienable rights.

Remember, we're the United States of America not the Federal Republic of America.

We were supposed to be a states' rights nation. Recall someone, somewhere, wrote down on some piece of paper something about the states having say over things not reserved for the Federal gov't.
