Israel fires missile into Syria -- and bombs Gaza

The attack on Gaza reportedly killed five Palestinians and wounded dozens.

According to this report - three of the dead were children who were playing football in a playground, which apparently was targeted.

This is not new. We have seen the deliberate targeting of children before.

The missile attack on Gaza is the first acknowledged attack on Syria by Israel since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. This is worrisome. Here is the story:

Yeah, except that the footage of Palestinians celebrating had nothing to do with 9/11. That footage was from a different time -- and was recycled as propaganda to make Americans associate Palestinians with terrorism.

Meanwhile, more than 100 Israeli agents were arrested in NYC giving high fives and generally celebrating the WTC collapse.

The NY cops found their behavior to be suspicious and arrested them -- thinking they were A-rabs. Turned out they were Israelis.

Two months later they were quietly deported back to Israel -- and the case was never mentioned again on FOX.

The Israelis should have been questioned thoroughly -- but this never happened. Their release appears to have been orchestrated by Michael Chertoff then at the DOJ. Chertoff later became head of Homeland Security.

It's not news that Syria will have to be dealt with. Obviously Obama and the USA braintrust has decided the rebels are to radical and Islamic to work with. Probably a smart move to tell you the truth. I think we will let them kill and use as much of their weaponary up as possible.

Actually -- you are close to the truth.

The targeting of children reflects the so called demographic problem. Israel faces a long term demographic crisis because Palestinians procreate much faster than Israelis.

This has caused much consternation in Israel. Many have argued that the only solution is to drive the Palestinians into Jordan en masse -- and be rid of them once and for all. Zionists lament that the founders of Israel did not finish the job when they had the chance, in 1948-49.

For years, Israel's military has targeted children. Many Palestinian children have been shot in the head -- often in the eyes -- a twisted symbolism if there ever was one.

Call me whatever you want. I will continue to speak out against the deliberate policy of targeting civilians -- home demolitions etc

You have it exactly backwards.

Hate to disappoint you -- but this is the fact.

The western media -- especially here in the US -- is totally biased in favor of Israel. The Palestinian point of view is almost never heard in the US press. Attacks on Israelis are always covered in detail in the US press. Meanwhile, attacks on Palestinians by Israel's military -- and extremist settlers -- which are many more in number -- are almost never reported.

During the 1990s -- there were huge peace protests in the West Bank. Millions of Palestinians demonstrated for a peace with Israel. This vast outpouring of support for a peace treaty was not even mentioned in the US press.

Wigs cant get over that Gaff things Venus is a comet and that comets are electrical and not frozen. Somrthing like that. I thought about it then decided maybe NASA knows more about it then Gaff so I am going with it's a planet.

I have some great pics of the stardust probes flyby of the wild 1 comet. Next to it is a piece of metal all the engineers at JPL signed and sent to my dad for the cameras he helped design that went on the probe. They triangulated its course by photographing stars and sending that information back to Earth to be processed.

Awesome stuff.

From what I've read, it appears that Hamas fired more than 100 rockets into Israel from Gaza prior to the retaliatory attack. In fact, they showed film of the rocket attack. If so, why would anybody be surprised at Israel's actions?

Yeah -- except - that's not how it happened. The Palestinians are ALWAYS blamed -- but if you look closer -- Israel is most often responsible for initiating the violence.

The people of Gaza are not equipped militarily to threaten Israel. Period.
