That's not an "Attack" on women. Birth control is not a right. Public funded Planned Parenthood is not a right. Good grief.

Now I am dismayed about politicians getting involved in a family decision, but that's not an attack on women specifically, but an attack on the liberty of all Americans. Pregnancy and abortion is not solely a female issue.

"Sex based wage discrimination" This is a bull**** argument as well. You negotiate your pay rate when you take on a job. If you don't like the pay rate, then don't take the job. You'll also find that women, as a group, now account for the majority of gross pay in the country and heads in the workforce. Regardless of bull**** legislation people try to push, it's trending and passing that of their male counter parts.

Domestic violence is illegal. Hitting someone else is illegal. There is no need to denote specific groups in our laws.

I know you're not. But it's been discussed ad infinitum, and I'm not going to re-hash an argument you either missed out on or completely ignored.

And your statement about fair and equal pay is not only nauseating, it is a patent violation of civil rights. Employers do not have the right to pay anyone whatever they want, just as they don't have the right to hire whomever they want, especially if it can be proven that they are doing so based on race, gender, religion, disability, etc...all protected by the law.

Not only that, but wage discrimination doesn't only take the form of what you get paid when you're hired. It also includes not getting promotions even though you're more qualified than a male candidate, getting smaller raises based on nothing more than gender, and the like.

But again, the simple fact here is that you're in denial, like much of the Republican party, and frankly, that is why they lost so handily this week. All 9 congressmen who made disgusting comments about legitimate rape, pregnancy caused by rape, and denial the life/health of the mother even exists lost, and most of the lost BAD.

All of this in addition to things like not allowing women on a panel deciding the fate of women's rights, censuring women for saying vagina, the list goes on and on.

But keep right on denying. No, please keep it up! It's only going to make the Democratic Party stronger, and the election returns with regard to how women voted easily bears that out.

I've been discriminated against in the work place. I couldn't afford at the time to sue anyone and frankly it would have been a waste of time, energy, and resources. Why? Because when I fail or come-up-short, I don't blame other people. I look within, make the correction, and move on. but this isn't about me and in typical fashion, not being able to have an actual discussion, you people try to make it personal.
