So who do we keep?
http://www.spotrac.com/free-agents/nfl/denver-broncos/ I'm thinking Koppen, Brookings, Bannan, Bruton, Carter, Colquit, Leonhard, Stokley and Vickerson should all get offers. Non of them are really getting much over the minimum except for Vickerson, Bannan and Colquit. How good is Chris Clark? |

Brooking? If hes still on the team next year, something has gone horribly wrong.

Clady gets a tag or a new contract.
Bannan gets resigned if they can come to some sort of middle ground on contract. Bruton if he will settle for a reasonable deal given he is a special teamer only. Koppen and Willis will get offers. Stokley will probably be brought back at some point during the summer, I imagine he might want to skip part of the OTAs before he resigns. All RFAs will get offers. |

This staff likes Mitch Unrein. He has seen a fair amount of action as a rotational guy (at DE and DT if I remember correctly), and has even seen some plays at fullback. I'm sure he can be had "on the cheap," so I don't see why he wouldn't remain a Bronco.

Yeah, he is young and plays DL. I figure there will be a market out there for him. I guess it depends how much the Broncos like him.

It should be noted who is UFA vs who is RFA.

I think Tony Carter is a bit of a must. I doubt Tracy Porter will be back as of right now. We need Carter as our nickel back and Champ's replacement. Also, Koppen is a must because he's 10x better than Walton.

If the Broncos win the SB, then we will probably see a few of the older guys (Brooking, etc.) retire.

I think they let them all test the market to drive the price down except for:
Clady, Colquitt, and T. Carter who they sign early. |

I'm pretty excited about the 2013 FA period. I dont think we'll have too many problems resigning our own FAs given they're not going to demand elite money outside of Clady.
And we could go out and shore up the DT/DE positions which would make this biggest difference to our front 7. |

Bruton seems to be in on every play on special teams. I love the kid! We need him back.

I'd like to see T.Carter and Vickerson re-upped today. Both of them are starters in this league.

Unless they can roll money into next season, then I am really not sure what the reason is behind the move. He restructured his contract for this season, he's still 6 million against the cap next year... And with them there country Kentucky boys playing really really good football at Will, I just don't see why they are just restructuring this season, unless DJ is not in the future plans.
