Mike Brown won't last long. Only thing keeping him there is Jim Buss' ego.

While I'm enjoying seeing the Lakers play poorly so far, its pretty clear that like Miami that first season they were together (I think they started out like 9-8 or something), I think the chemistry will obviously improve over time (and their comfortability in their new offense). There is too much talent there for it not too...although I've noticed that Howard is a minus player on most nights even though he puts up good stats and Nash is often a minus player as well when he's on the court. 1-4 is a poor start, but I think they will obviously turn it around with some more time......unfortunately.

I don't think the Princeton offense matched the way they are built, but talk about a complete mishandling by the front office.

Glad he got fired, its been a long time coming. 1-4 is completely unacceptable with this team.

This is going to be interesting. I do like reuniting Nash and D'Antoni.

Up and Down 7 second offense trumps Triangle offense.
Also probably means Gasol is a goner soon. |

This team will defend better than PHX D'Antoni teams because they still have Howard/Gasol protecting the rim. Those PHX teams had Amare, who is allergic to defense.
Its an interesting hire, but with Nash running the show now, I expect them to have success |

I think the biggest issue now is the ability of these older players to stay healthy in this offense all season long. Very fast paced. |

How's James harden doing after those first 2 performances? Not so good. Teams have film on him and he's now only shooting in the 30 percent range. Ignored the media last night after doinking several shots.

Popovich rests 4 starters against the heat. 2 more are out injured. Heat must be sucking to keep the end of the spurs bench in the game still. This should be a heat blowout.

The Cavs are about to come out of this funk and set the NBA on fire.
Clearly they are just playing bad to get the Zeller brothers together. Then hire Phil Jackson and poof enter decade of dominance. |

So Stern is all pissed off that the Spurs rested everyone. Pretty funny they almost won the game. Stern needs to quit scheduling games like the ones the Spurs been playing. 4 games in 5 nights is ridiculous. Popovich doesn't care what Stern thinks.
