I had an odd experience last night. I'm watching Governor Hickenlooper kind of joking about pot, with the Cheetohs comment. And I'm laughing along with him. And that's a common reaction all over the country; People in government, at many levels, laughing about pot. Meanwhile, how many Americans are sitting in a jail cell over this ****? We're asking our police to enforce this law while, as a society, we're pretty much just laughing about it. Time to end the stupidity.

The law isn't in effect until a month after the final ballot is validated as I understand it. This could take several months.

But when in effect yes, any person 21 years old with a valid ID should be able to buy up to an ounce from a dispensary.

Wonder how this will effect the military if it ever becomes federally legal? I'm guessing it will never be legal to use for military members. If I could toke up on the weekends I'd never get out lol.

So if you test positive for pot by your employer he can't do anything about it?

The league would have to change its policy if the behavior was no longer illegal.

No.

Employers can fire you just like if you came to work drunk. It's still federal law regardless, so you would never win an appeal for wrongful termination.

NFL is a private organization. If they want to say weed still banned they most certainly can. The govt won't force them or other companies to accept weed smokers.

Can't wait for legalized coke. Baka will approve since it comes from Mexico.

That's still to be determined. It would still be a controlled substance.

Does this mean farmers in Colorado can now grow hemp?

Cause if it does I'm buying a farm in South Western Colorado.

Actually yes, part of the new laws actually encourage hemp farming and manufacturing.

I expect many places to take advantage of the low cost of hemp rope, clothing, paper, etc.

Buying a hemp farm right now may be smarter than buying a MJ coffee shop.
