What civil rights are you referring to? Clearly not marriage equality.

And I hope Republicans work with him now since they dont have to worry about getting him out of office. lets get it done.
fact is BO will just use executive power to force his policies. I think he's used this more than any other president up to this date by a wide margin and I don't see him changing his ways. Fact is, now BO can really inforce his will upon a crappy congress. BO has never been about working across party lines. It's up to the repubs to decide if they are going to capitulate or if they are going to continue the gridlock.

Half the crap they're getting caught up on isn't supposed to be in their hands anyways. I'm perfectly content with electing people to go to Washington DC just to get into a staring contest with those across the aisle. It's a subversive state's rights movement, maybe.

They'll take the lead from how the Democrats decided to drop their heartfelt beliefs in order to work with Bush in 2004.

Maybe they saw what he did. The media covering the exit polls today were surprised how many still blamed Bush. I think the Repubs are blinded by the extreme damage that Bush's admin did and what Obama inherited. And the fact that we may not be back to full strength, but we're working on getting there and he did not let us fall flat on our faces.

You guys have NO interest in working across party lines. Turn on Fox News right now...what gives you the idea that they'll start?

Congress really is the real problem. Much more than the president.

There are 890,000 votes left to be counted in Ohio. 750,000 of those votes are in heavily democratic areas around Cleveland. The votes left to come in from Florida are in Miami/Dade. That's also heavily democratic. Colorado looks like it's going Obama. Probably Nevada as well.

Haven't the stupid heard of absentee ballots like 1/2 of the general population. Some people have to work to feed a family, not stand in line for 7 hours to cast a meaningless vote.

It's now time for everyone to pull together as Americans. One and all. Demand that Washington works together to get things done.

To hell with that. The things that are on the slate for the president and senate are things, for the most part, I don't want to see.

End free trade, cut back on spending, and start living responsibly here at home. Playing "blame the rich guy for all your problems", focusing on whether gays should be able to marry or just get stuck in civil unions, etc, are topics that I'd gladly see gridlocked.

You are the one watching Fox News, not me! I followed the election on the internet. I'm not a republican, I'm an independent and I already said Romney sucked as a candidate. Will the GOP work with BO? I don't know. But the fact is they really don't have much of a choice.

Well damn then there is this point!! I won't call them stupid, I will be kinder and gentler and refer to them as persons with procrastination.
