I called the election months ago.... Just looking at who the republicans were dangling to run against obama. Never a doubt that a 2nd term was going to happen. No news hews here.

PS: to the moronic poster that said california was not yet done has no clue on what goes on out west. CA and its majority including the tree huggers, fruits and nuts and actors put more money into obamas war chest than any other state.

Anyways, I hope you take solace knowing that this election has advanced Mormonism's public image, regardless of the result.

Personally I also look forward to the Republican party doing some soul searching, returning from the far right to the right like they were in the 80s (they're going to have to if they want the latino vote).

I can't wait to one day feel like I've got two good choices, not a bad choice and a less bad one.

Man Kaylore goes to bed early!
I agree the repubs are so polarized and far right they are missing that they are becoming dinosaurs. So many of us are independents who have conservative views that dont involve Christianity and who are tired of the crap. The Dems seem to appeal more to my group than the repubs. At least that's my viewpoint. I didn't vote for some stupid slogan that won't amount anything for another four years, but the other viable option was so underwhelming it was defeating.

The fact that the Republicans nominated a terrible candidate... that might've had a larger impact, though.
Any decent candidate would have won running away.

All I can think is he had a typo or Freudian slip. I saw them calling it for Obama as well.

yah, Romney just sucked as a candidate. The GOP thought that they could win this election based on the economy but the fact is, the stock market has been on a steady rise for like 2 years now. I really hope BO tries to do something about the deficit and creating jobs. I'm worried about inflation and a weak dollar.

Looks like the Dems are going to widen their lead in the Senate.

Romney said in that video that there were 47% of Americans who would vote for Obama no matter what he did. I think he just underestimated the percentage by a bit.

Fact of the matter is this:

Country is going down the crapper with either candidate. 1 road is fast, 1 road is slower.

We're now on the fast track to a bankrupt America, so meh.....

Note to self: No more delays on food storage or guns.

Civil Rights took a huge hit tonight. I guess America wasn't ready for a Mormon president... Racists.

I am confused with how this is a called election when Ohio, Virginia, Co, Florida aren't 100 percent reported.

If Obama is winning the state and the districts still reporting are heavily Obama-favoring, you can safely make a guess.

HA yeah right. That is the biggest flaw with our 2 party system is that they have become so polarized to the left and right as a result of fighting each other that its damn near impossible to get an accord.
