I agree. I'm sure we are effecting the environment and am for sensible research into green energy. I do question the degree of the effect we have on the environment.

I don't think it's hard to believe at all, given that cyanobacteria created the air we breathe. Hell, there's a raft of our garbage floating in the Pacific Ocean that's the size of Texas.

Global Temperature Trends From 2500 B.C. To 2040 A.D.
Until the early to mid 2000s, global temperatures were more than a degree Fahrenheit warmer when compared to the overall 20th Century mean. From August of 2007 through February of 2008, the Earth’s mean reading dropped to near the 200-year average temperature of 57 degrees. Since that time, the mean reading has been fluctuating. (See Long-Term Chart Below.) We, Cliff Harris and Randy Mann, believe that the warming and even the cooling of global temperatures are the result of long-term climatic cycles, solar activity, sea-surface temperature patterns and more. However, Mankind’s activities of the burning of fossil fuels, massive deforestations, the replacing of grassy surfaces with asphalt and concrete, the ‘Urban Heat Island Effect,’ are making conditions ‘worse’ and this will ultimately enhance the Earth’s warming process down the meteorological roadway in the next several decades. From the late 1940s through the early 1970s, a climate research organization called the Weather Science Foundation of Crystal Lake, Illinois, determined that the planet’s warm, cold, wet and dry periods were the result of alternating short-term and long-term climatic cycles. These researchers and scientists also concluded that the Earth’s ever-changing climate likewise has influenced global and regional economies, human and animal migrations, science, religion and the arts as well as shifting forms of government and strength of leadership http://www.longrangeweather.com/global_temperatures.htm |

I cannot, and no-one ever will be able to. Weather cannot be predicted more than about two weeks in advance, and will never be able to be predicted as you request.
You're just making up **** because you're ignorant of the subject. Hugely.[/QUOTE] therefore global warming being caused by man greenhouse effect is just speculation . so are the models showing the whole world warming up dramatically are inaccurate .therefore you cannot prove global warming therefore i am right . tyvm now about demonic possessions fun to talk about but cant prove it scientifically . again thank you for saying global warming cant be proven as fact scientifically and talk about global warming is speculation and most likely part of a natural process . also how come it was so tropical everywhere when there was dinosaurs |

Besides, science doesn't "prove" anything - that you think it must to be credible just shows how wrong you are. Quote:

It wouldn't be too difficult to predict that Stanford would be CU today, but as to how much gain (or loss) the Buffs would have gotten on their fourth play from scrimmage, it's impossible to predict. Doesn't mean CU was likely to beat Stanford. Got it? |

aww he ignored me
let me rephrase my beliefs on global warming its a natural cycle it gets warm it gets cold some years are warmer dryer or wetter you cant predict whats going to happen with a faulty computer program they should of tested it by trying to predict the past . then see how accurate the program is and not tamper with the program to get the results you want. wasn't this a thread about demonic possessions or something that was not serious but something of a joke ? so why are we discussing global warming when it is 30 * atm 8:54 pm 6,020 feet above sea level pretty nice for November but way too dry. not caused by anything mankind has done if it is caused by mankind do prove it |

you cannot predict global warming cant tell me why its warmer or colder why we are going thru a drought why was it dry back in the 1930s dust bowl years http://www.livinghistoryfarm.org/far.../water_02.html it was even dryer then was it not was that caused by global warming caused by man . the dust yes was caused by mans action on over grazing over working the land |

If they were tampered with to get the current climate right, they couldn't be used for all those other purposes. That they are shows that you're wrong. |
