I have know clue on your first question. As far as owner player I think it is against the rules at the same time. Granted NBA is completely different sport but that is why Jordan had to sell when he came back to Wizards. I would think NFL would be similar.

I would be surprised if he goes that way, I wouldn't be entirely surprised to see him end up going the GM way and you can bet that ESPN, NFL network, NBC and FOX will all be making very persuasive offers to have him do analysis.

Between Elway, his car partner, and Manning family they could do it. Not to mention a bank would jump all over loaning a little money for a NFL team.

I can't imagine a new owner in the NFL would ever be a sole owner at this point. With franchises headed towards a billion dollars there are always going to be outside investors.

You crazy.

Forbes valued the Broncos at just over a Billion in 2011. They would both have to sell everything and go all in plus need help to just buy the team (not that I think they could just the 2 of them). then they have to fund the operations while servicing the debt. Ya, they are rich but not that rich.
