I misspoke. He actually made $19.5M last year. So only 900 yards with that kind of salary is an even worse deal than I thought, wow.

you can get away with speed in college in subpar conferences. caulk was a different beast he was able to transition his game to the pro leval, something well have to wait and see if hilman can. one thing for sure is hilman is not a bell cow back.

We will know in less than 3 hours. I'm sure Denver isn't the only team pursuing him.

Your $12M number has already been refuted in this thread. Pat's doing ok, but he still can't get around the salary cap. That money could be better spent towards an extension for Clady or better FAs next year than DeAngelo Williams.

To use your earlier example of LenDale White: Calling Hillman the same as Williams is the equivalent of saying LenDale White is the same as Jerome Bettis. Similar measurables and running style in college. Top production. Why sign Bettis when we can get his clone in White cheaper? |

![]() I understand what you're saying, but what's DeAngelo's ceiling? Assuming both stay healthy, does he displace McGahee? I don't think so. He's going to be a change of pace guy, similar to Hillman's role now, although probably with a greater % of carries. Still less than 50%. So if it all works out, you're paying him $6M next year to be a backup RB. If it doesn't, like you mentioned, you cut him. But no harm, no foul? I don't think so - you're still out the $2.6M and the 4th or 5th round pick you gave up to get him in the first place. |

"The thought of staying a Panther never really crossed my mind because the thought of leaving never crossed my mind," Williams said. "In my mind, I'm going to continue being a Panther until told otherwise." "I'm one of those guys where when my number is called I'm going to try to make the best of it, whether it's as a starter or in a backup role." "I can't call the plays and run them, too," "I'm not throwing anybody under the bus. I'm not calling anybody out. I just try to make the best of my opportunity. Every play that we've drawn up is designed to score. And if we don't score on a play that's designed to score, then quite naturally you'll be frustrated." "Does it look like I want to be somewhere else? I'm going to let you guys (in the media) answer that." "I'm going to leave it open for discussion. I'm going to try to get my Twitter followers up. ... It will be disclosed at 4 p.m. Thursday, so stay tuned. It will be breaking news at 4:05 p.m." |

fans in Carolina are pretty upset at the play-calling and usage of personnel, Deangelo in particular. I don't know how many times I've heard folks b****ing about the read-option stuff they are trying to make work.

What does this mean? My guy told me it was going down. I trust him. He's given me good info in the past. So I should not have shared this? Unless something falls thru at the end, its going down. We'll hear tomorrow if it fell thru. Dont ban me yet

Anyway, I think we are done here. I doubt DWill is going to be a Bronco and Im inclined to believe you are a troll as others have pointed out. Even when your claims are proven to be wrong, you twist your argument so that you never have to admit that youre wrong. Have fun with that ![]() Perhaps you should have run against Obama instead of Romney. |
