If somehow we get a bye week...and the last week of the season doesn't necessarily count...Manning could be on the bench...and miss a game.

The most interesting thing about all this? For every record of Elway's that he breaks, Elway comes out looking like a genius for signing him. John Elway wins even when he loses!

After another win Manning is close to breaking his first record. He only needs 2 more touchdown passes to pass John Elway for the single season franchise record of 27. here are some other records he's on pace to break.

403 completions (team record)
509 attempts
4,742 yards (team record)
67.7 completion % (team record)
38 TD passes (shattering team record)
104.8 qb rating (team record)

Lwts hope he gets all these while getting the most important number. 1 superbowl win in a season!
