Stokley always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Anyone remember that Cinci game where he caught that deflected ball and running along the goaline running more time off the clock? Dude is a gamer..reminds me a lot of Eddie MaC.

Remember when Stokely got ejected in the first quarter in Philly for making contact with an official while he was arguing a call? Who is the Stokley to Stoklee

Well you certainly don't want a guy on the field just because he can stop a celebration penalty. I think the thread title is a little misleading. He's s smart guy but he's a clutch WR in the slot and that's why you want him on the field. I did have some doubts about his durability a few years ago but he seems to be going good right now. Hope he can stay fresh and healthy.

I seem to recall he did the same thing with Brandon Marshall. Cleveland. Yep. It was Cleveland.

I heard that mosquitos won't bite Stokley not because they can't but just out of respect.

I remember when Stokely saved a big penalty when he stopped Marvin Harrison from making a dumb celebration too.
Good guy Stokely.

Stokley also told DT and Decker to stay off his lawn.

Plus there was one time he stopped Marshall from tripping over a McDonalds wrapper or something...

I refuse to believe there is an easier name in the entire NFL that gets misspelled as much as his.

I find it hard to believe it took two pages into the thread before someone called me out on this.

In the Browns game, Marshall was going to do this celebration where he held up a black and white glove for OBama. Stokely talked him out of it.

At about the 12 second mark, he saves us a penalty.

After the touchdown catch by Thomas, he throws the ball to Decker who is getting ready to alley-oop it back to Thomas for the goalpost slam dunk. Stokely comes in a breaks up the play and almost certainly saves the Broncos a 15 yard unsportsmanlike-like penalty for excessive celebration.

I love the young guys enthusiasm. But, I also love the having the veterans around to let then know when they need to dial it back just a little.
that's good of Stokley, but I'd rather have him on the field for things like 3rd down conversions; this is where Stokley earns his money.

It was as much for CSU Husker, who managed to misspell it 3 times in a one line post.

Made McD a winner in his debut game as a head coach, but IIRC first thing Josh did was complain about Stokely running parallel to the end zone to kill the last few seconds ...
