I've coveted Patrick Willis since he came in the league. But I've also wanted a safety FOREVER. Earl Thomas. Patrick Petersen would be nice for return but I also really like Malcolm Jenkins who we will see this week. I tried to get Haloti to sign with the Broncos when his contract was expiring but he didn't. Huge human being! Sad.

This year, to win now: Arian Foster.
Best fit to fill a position of need: Patrick Willis. Best overall value: Andrew Luck. |

Peterson or Watt, it's easier to draft a MLB

That's what I'm leaning toward.
Watt is having an MVP season. Peterson would solve our corner situation for another ten years and also make our special teams complete. It would have the added benefit of seeing you completely lose it over and over any time he did anything, even mundane tasks like walking around. |

Clay Matthews. Von and Matthews on the same field would be the nastiest tandem in history.

At his current salary?
If no, then Aaron Rodgers. We cant have 2 QB's making that much. If yes, then JJ Watt or Calvin Johnson. Probably Johnson. I think if you polled NFL executives Luck, Rodgers would go 1,2. Last edited by fwf; 10-27-2012 at 08:05 AM.. |

Thank you for thinking outside the box. I listen to all these cliche answers, Watt would play strong side DE in our scheme and while I would love to have him, we need an interior DT, which is much harder to find than a MLB as Rev just pointed out. Even a CB like Pererson, who I applaud those who weren't cliche and said his name, can be found more easy than a DOMINANT pass rushing DT. They are few and far between. Geno Atkins is the best pass rushing DT in football.
I don't care if you have a dominant Revis or Peterson in the secondary or a Willis at MLB, without a push and pass rush, NOBODY can blanket someone if the QB has all day to throw! |

Outside the box Harvin. Inside the box Suh. On pace for 9 plus sacks again.

There are 3 good pass rushing DTs.. Atkins, Melton, and Suh in that order. **** Melton makes a physical corner like Tillman look all world. How does a corner make our D better? Brady still worked short and intermediate against NY with Revis and Cromartie. Yet the Giants with a freak pass rush and average CB play were able to slow down the Pats high powered attack. |
