Ferguson was an overrated journeyman and Sam Brandon was incredibly effective in the Big Nickle. We haven't been able to stop a TE since he went down.

Didn't the NFLPA stop the extending of rookie contracts in the first 2 years, thus Moore cant be extended until 2013 at the earliest.

Do people not realize oil prices are set globally and not locally? We could be "energy independent" and gas prices will still be high. Blame India and China for their industry booms.

That's why he has 40 tackles after 6 games this season.

It had to be someone with a "tebow" name.

The Big Nickle brings back wonderful memories. We used to be able to cover TEs! Even good ones! On to Moore. I'm very proud of him for coming so far, so quick. The year before he came out, he had 10 ints in one season. He was like Ed Reed in college, always in the right place. I'm coming to terms that his 10int season was an Epiphany, and nothing more.

Carter! I truly believe he is the answer at the other safety. He seemed to have a knack for big Ints. Let's all hope, BELIEVE, prey or whatever that he comes back strong next year!! I've come to the realization that winning more than 2 playoff games with our Safety situation is simply not a realistic expectation, not to mention MLB.

You must not have watched the last 2 games because his tackling was very solid and it's getting better. Way to stick your foot in your mouth. Next time, get your facts straight before spewing off.

In the last 4 years my average Heating bill has gone from $90 month to $165... $30 of that is my own doing though. My average Electricity bill from $115 to $140. My average weekly grocery bill from $150 to nearly $250 ($almost $400 per month!) and that doesn't include the nearly $180 per month in school lunches for my kids that have gone from $2.25 per day to $2.85 per day. Fuel from $150 per month to about $240 per month. All of this is directly related to the cost of gas. Lowering the cost of fuel should be any president's priority, IMO. Lower the cost of fuel and that could potentially free up $300-400 a month for my family. That's a lot of money that I could be pumping back into the economy! But I don't pretend that any candidate would do enough to make a difference in this regard.

In a bit of a different situation than most, but up until two years ago it more than kept pace. Been stagnant for two years now and I don't complain and understand why. Income in that 4 years grew by probably 20%, but from promotion.

I don't look at him and see a Pro Bowl talent or anything, but there's definitely a good player in there. If he can develop into a good all-round starter then I'll be delighted, you can't have 11 Pro Bowlers and how long has it been since Denver had a good safety?

A good SS alongside him would help immensely, too. Adams and Leonhard are no more than stop-gaps, Carter showed glimpses last year but who knows how his injury this season will affect him. Be great if Carter and Moore could develop into a quality tandem.

That said, he's definitely talking about Obama.
Well that defines how you look at "talent". He has all the physical gifts, so it's just the mental part of it. Much different then then somebody who doesn't have the physical tools to be a probowl player. Give him another year. I think he's going to learn alot from Champ and JDR.

Physically he probably does have the gifts yes, but you can say that for so many players in the NFL. These guys are incredible athletes.

I think a lot of the mental side of the game is innate though. Sure you can improve your ability to read the game through practice and coaching, but only so much IMO. The great players at DB are the ones that can see what's going to happen that split second before anyone else does and react to something almost before it actually happens.

Maybe when Moore gets comfortable in his role in the defense and doesn't have to think so much we'll start seeing that from him. Hopefully.
