His tackling has come a long way in the space of a year, he's still a little unsure of himself in coverage at times but that should improve as he gets more comfortable in our system and continues to get up to NFL speed.

I don't look at him and see a Pro Bowl talent or anything, but there's definitely a good player in there. If he can develop into a good all-round starter then I'll be delighted, you can't have 11 Pro Bowlers and how long has it been since Denver had a good safety?

This. Except Dawkins and Lynch were good... not homegrown, though.

Guys like Dawkins and Lynch were scary and provided unbelievable run support. As the NFL is much more of a passing league now I think we need guys like Moore who can really cover ground. I think his mistakes this season have been mental - these are obviously easier to teach than the physical ones. I still have high hopes for him - i think his athleticism can make him a good one.

Dawkins was an excellent run support player and emotional leader. He needed to be protected a lot in terms of his coverage assignments though by the time he came to Denver, the Dawkins we got was a shadow of what he was in Philly.

Lynch was immense, but that was like more than 5 years ago. Some of the scrubs we've run out there at safety since he left... damn... not a healthy thing to be thinking about!

The worst pair was by far Fox and McCree....

And Renaldo Hill was pretty awful... blew a game against the Jets with a stupid PI on a hail mary...

The comment about 11 pro bowlers is something I say from time to time.. would be great but soon they would be getting more cap psace than we can afford..

It has to be the more these Kiddies work with REAL NFL coaches the better they get.. It is not like we have had quality Defensive coaches in over a decade and when we did get one or two the HC would run them off.

I remember hearing one of the older( someone that had been here since Mikey was here..) Defensive players when Fox came to town, say it is nice not feeling like a second class citizen any more....

if you want a great D use the PIT model get a guy that failed as HC and let him run the the D forever.. When you bury him hire another one..

The great defenses over the years have one thing in common long term DC that bring in great position coaches.. Buddy Ryan way back in CHI, Jones from PHILLY, Dick L in PIT..

They kept their teams in play in every game.. In some cases won those games on D..

Should be for everyone..

It not only cost more to go to work, but all other costs are higher as a result.. Food is more expensive because of the fuel it takes to move it on the farm, from the farm, from the possessor, to the market..

As is every other thing you buy..

Guessing that because of the cost of gas is up so are your natural gas bills for heating and cooking and if you live somewhere you use heating oil to keep your house warm it is up also..

YES it is a really big deal..
