I waited for all my adult life to vote for a candidate like Ron Paul. Every single election since 1996 I have voted for 'other'...this was to be my big year. Alas, Ron Paul couldn't sniff the ballot.

In any fight, it is most important to fend off that threat which presents the biggest danger first. In a fight for freedom in the U.S., that threat would be further enslavement in the form of Obamacare and skyrocketing debt.

Does Romney make a difference, in the end? That remains to be seen. However, we have all seen what Obama stands for, which is a big departure from the ideals that the U.S. was founded on.

Obama is leading the poll - on a far-right-leaning football board.

Interesting.

Bingo and that's why Syria and Iran are next.

Obama, because that's the best chance for bi-partisan compromise.

I figure both sides have valid points and both sides have to make some compromises. I'm seeing the GOP as the obstructionists to any kind of compromise, even when some of their leaders really want compromise.

So they guy with a terrible track record working across the aisle is better than the guy who worked with successfully a Democratic legislature as Gov. of MA?

Far right, huh?

Have you polled everyone here on their political leanings? If no, then you have no idea.

No polling required - 10 years of reading their posts is more than enough evidence.

If you were a fan of Ron Paul, just remember, a vote for Romney, is a vote against Ron Paul and Liberty.

Over 800 vetoes issued, over 700 over them overruled by the state senate and house.

He put through one piece of bipartisan legislature, a healthcare bill that the GOP now demonizes as the single biggest act of socialism ever on the national level. Other than that he was an ineffective governor who repeatedly tried to dictate terms to a democratic majority and got rebuffed repeatedly.

Romney has a track record of balancing budgets while Obama given 4 years, still hasn't much less ever did before becoming president. The bottom line is Obama has shown a serious lack of knowledge of history, especially about the military, and clueless about the economy. And his advisers to such matters know even less. This is the most under-qualified admin. in modern history and the results show it.

Since I live in a deep blue state, I can just vote as I want to (Huntsman write-in). If I lived in a true purple state, I would have a very tough decision to make. Thankfully, I don't have to make it.

This is how my vote ultimately was decided. I live in Cali too and just filled out my ballot today voting for Johnson. If I lived in a swing state I more than likely would have voted Obama.

So how did Massachusetts do compared with other states? As the Obama campaign has repeatedly noted, Massachusetts ranked 47th out of 50 states over the entirety of Romney’s four years as governor in terms of job creation. By comparison, Massachusetts ranked 37th in job growth under Swift, and it ranked 10th in Patrick’s first term.

By that measure, Romney had the worst record in a decade.
