More like 15 years before that in 1967.

Yes STUD Denver Sucked for the 1st 17 years of it's existence but our sell out string started in 1969, 4 years before we had a winning season. KFC had success early only to see their fans bail on them when times got hard.

oh rly? i see the wiki citation for said claim is the unexpected hero, the book about floyd little.... just throwing that out there.

you know i once saw stanzi wearing a broncos hat between classes one day at iowa. hes a nice guy, but he had a bad year his senior year with the exception of his interceptions (with tons of weapons/drafted players) and from what ive seen in preseason games, has improved very little since 2009.

I'm hoping Quinn comes in and gets them to low tier respectability. I'd love to see Quinn take them right out of the top 10 draft pick position.

Me too! I think 3-5 more games should do it.

Would love to see them reaching on another bust DT in the 1st!

Just to clarify. No state income tax greatly benefits everyone in the state of Texas that does not own property and has a job because while there there is no state income tax, the property taxes are among the highest in the nation.

It was the fake punt that sealed your fate that game.

Just more and more proof that a quality QB has been a prime reason why this team has been so bad.
The rest of the offense has been there.

2. Kansas City Chiefs
PB = 2nd, RB = 10th, PEN = 9th
You canít blame the Chiefs struggle on their offensive line. Branden Albert has given up just eight quarterback disruptions all year, Ryan Lilja (who was playing well at LG) looks like a natural at center, while Eric Winston and Jon Asamoah have formed a handy combination. The quarterback situation is killing this team.

That's unreal. 2nd rated OL in football, best rusher in the AFC, a pro bowl WR.

That's unfathomable. Well I think a rookie QB will have a great chance at success with that kind of support.

20 years is more like it. By 1983 Denver had over 12 years of consecutive sellouts.

Perhaps the lowest day in Chiefs' history came on January 2, 1983, when they drew 11,902 fans to a season ending 37-13 win over the New York Jets. On that same day, the now defunct Kansas City Comets of the Major Indoor Soccer League attracted 15,000 to their game at Kemper Arena.

Yes, but they did draft QB Todd Blackledge in the 1983 draft passing on both Jim Kelly and Dan Marino.

Can you imagine Elway and Marino in the same division?

I already beat down STUD with the fact that Denver's sell out string started in 1969, 4 years before our 1st winning season and that Floyd helped stave off the move in 1967, 2 points that destroyed his weak uninformed argument like a breeze hitting a house of cards.

Haven't heard his counter since.

could of had a marino elway rivalry , then again im shure they would somehow find a way to screw that up and ruin marinos career before it even began or jim kellys career.

I like how the only way they get decent players is by picking them off the scrap heap and hoping they have something left in the tank.

Deberg
Montana
Allen
Grbac
Green
Gannon

If they had a real scouting department and a real GM they might be a franchise that didn't suck so hard.

Not about having a bad scouting department when it comes to QB. It's about King Carl being too scared to take one because of his reputation and Patrioli thinking he can outsmart everyone by taking one in a later round.

The Chiefs are the most conservative and scared franchise in the NFL.

On a side note, Clark fired the wrong guy.

Todd Haley was a very good head coach in Kansas City. Pioli should have been fired, not him.

Your half right, they should have fired both guys.

Haley is an arrogant douche who lost the team much like mCd did. They needed to make a change, good for us that they made the wrong change.

He was a bit hot headed, but he was Pioli's yes man. For example, Haley wanted Matt Hasselback but Pioli said no. Haley didn't want Tyson Jackson, but Pioli forced him on Haley. Pioli messed with game day lineups.
Haley had to basically beg Pioli to take Eric Berry.

Haley went Rogue because Pioli controlled everything. I don't think any HC could succeed in that environment.
