Just got cut from Ravens.
Although he's has extensive medical history, is he someone the team should take a look at? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...sergio-kindle/ |

I wanted the Broncos to draft him. Now? I'm not so sure. I don't want a roster space taken up by someone who can't see the field...

I understand he could be an upgrade, but he's still only seen action in 3 games (in 3 years). We DID take a chance on Manning, but he will be a first-ballot HOF inductee. Can we sign him for the vet minimum? Probably not...

He's obviously injured beyond what we know, and there really isn't anyone we should cut on our roster to take him in for a "look."
On top of that, he's a 3-4 OLB, he would need to come in, learn a new system to even find some playing time. And this guy has 1 tackle in his whole NFL career. Ravens made a mistake drafting this guy, it'd be a mistake for us to cut anyone on our team for him considering he probably has about 0 upside. |

Unless he can play MLB better than Brooking or Mays no thanks. He's an OLB though, so no thanks.

On July 28, 2007, at 2:35 am, Kindle was pulled over for failing to stay in a single-marked lane near downtown Austin, Texas. After failing a field sobriety test, Kindle was arrested and charged with a DWI.[18] Kindle was 19 years old at the time. Although he was sentenced to three days in jail, he served no jail time.[19]
On December 26, 2010, Kindle was arrested for drunk driving at 4:09 am in Howard County, Maryland. Testing revealed that he had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.17 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit in Maryland of 0.08.[20] He was released from custody after posting a bond of $10,000. Following his second arrest, Kindle spent five days at an alcohol abuse in-patient treatment facility. Judge Neil Edward Axel, Howard County’s drug and DUI court supervisor, waived both the mandatory $1,000 fine and the mandatory five-day jail sentence.[21] On September 16, 2011, Kindle was sued in Davidson County (TN) Circuit Court by U.S. Bank for $130,000, over non-payment of loans from the bank's music and entertainment division, which is based in Nashville. It is reported that the bank planned to have Kindle served with a subpoena during the Ravens' trip that weekend to Nashville, to play the Tennessee Titans. He and DJ should get along great! |

I bet it was one of those Columbia House deals. They lure you in with those awesome "15 CD's for a penny!" deals and the next thing you know you owe them 130k and all you have to show for it are a crate of Dexy's Midnight Runners albums.

He's a 3-4 outside Linebacker. He'd have to play DE for us this year...and try to convert to OLB next season. He just doesn't fit what we are trying to do... or what our true needs are...MLB. We have DJW coming back in 2-weeks if we need a true OLB.

Hah! When I read this I was under the impression that Kindle was a wide receiver. Given that...I thought your post was a funny, but unfortunately dead accurate comment on the current talent level the Donks sport in the LB corps.
