I'll have to check with the wife though - we were talking about skipping the tail-gate and taking the train to uptown. |

Panthers just fired Hurney. All hope is lost. Tickets should be easier to get now. No reason not to fill BofA stadium with orange!

let's start planning this mofo. Who all is driving to the game, and any suggestions on parking?
I did find this link for reserved parking. Unless anyone has a better suggestion, I say we all at least try to get to the same lot. I've got my eye on 801: 801 McNinch St - $20, 0.26 mi from stadium, allows tailgating, restroom facilities available. |

I have no idea where the good parking spots are, but I would be happy to investigate if it results in a raging tailgate.

I may go -- I live near Charlotte. I'll check in for the latest at this thread if there's a tailgate organized.

sounds good, consider ours booked.
just troll-PMed everyone a link to the lot. we have potential for 20-30 people at this game, would be awesome to have the biggest bronco tailgate in the area. Last edited by tsiguy96; 10-25-2012 at 04:16 AM.. |

Anyone looking to go out the night before? tsiguy and myself will be there Saturday night.
I plan on bringing a keg of cream ale or IPA depending on what i have ready. I will most def bring other beer to since i cant drink IPA the entire time. |

I don't think I'm up for going out on the town Saturday night - I live about 45 min south of uptown and if i'm gonna be up at at it Sunday AM, I need my beauty rest the night before.
However, I am interested in a sports bar this Sunday for the Bengals game - I'm assuming it won't be broadcast here in Charlotte. |

There are a number of other decent bars and restaurants in the area, but I haven't really had the chance to explore them all. Dixies Tavern is supposed to be pretty good. RiRa's is a good Irish pub. A little further out than Up-town, Olde Mecklenburg brewery has a nice little tasting room, but not much around. Taco Mac has a great beer selection. Bill Spoons is probably the best BBQ near up-town. I like it better than Macs Speed Shop, which is where people tend to suggest...I'm not really a fan of Macs, it's over priced, IMO and the place tries to be an "upscale biker bar"...the type of place where bank executives will ride their Harleys to. I know there's some cool stuff in NoDa area, and there are some cool spots at the NC Music Factory - VBGB beer hall, in particular. ETA: you are a homebrewer, right? Might be worth while checking out NoDa and Birdsong breweries. I haven't been to either one, but they are next door to each other and about 4 miles from the stadium.
