I haven't heard anything about the side?/hip?/ribs? injury he seemed to get on the sack in the 2nd half. He definitely seemed to be hurting for a while, then looked great again later. Don't know if that's because he shook off something minor or if it's because Von was introduced to Mr. Needle.

Anybody heard any non-light rail news about this?

I haven't heard anything about that, I hope it was just a mild stinger and he's ok. Good time for a bye.

He's being interviewed on SportsCenter now. He was just asked about the hip pointer and said he's rehabing and working on it and it's already feeling much better.

The bye week couldn't come at a better time. If its just bruised mucle and not any damage to the underlying bone, a hip pointer is should heal in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Probably popped some of Matt Schaub's painkillers and they kicked in at the right time.
