Default Bain Capital shipping more jobs overseas

Freeport, Illinois........

Romney has 8 million in Bain Capital funds that control 51 percent of the company that is sending jobs overseas.....SENSATA.

ROMNEY HAS BEEN ASKED BY THOSE EMPLOYEES TO STOP THIS.

HE did this while at Bain and set up the roadmap to outsouce jobs.

Romney owns 10 other Chinese investments that profit from outsourcing our jobs.

He won't stop this and he will profit from it.

You better wake the F up.

If its your job or an extra dollar this DOUCHE will send your job overseas.

This is the guy the right has running for President ?

Has to be a nightmare that we will wake the F up from on

Hey Demoncrats, if you want manufacturing back in America, get rid of your stupid unions and labor laws that are holding it back!

People in China and the Philippines get all the industrial jobs because they're not afraid to work on weekends, or have a little overtime without pay, or risk losing a few fingers. They also don't need any of this "living wage" BS.

To get our jobs back, we have to be more competitive and work for less money than any Chinese person, we might even have to work for free. It sounds rough and I know liberals will whine, but that's capitalism my friend!

When you post things like this on this message board, it is an unwritten rule that you also at least post a link to the story. Otherwise people will feel obliged to tell you that you are full of shlt.

You mean Fox News isn't making a big deal out of this story?

Published in 2003:

The high price of ‘free’ trade
NAFTA’s failure has cost the United States jobs across the nation

Since the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was signed in 1993, the rise in the U.S. trade deficit with Canada and Mexico through 2002 has caused the displacement of production that supported 879,280 U.S. jobs. Most of those lost jobs were high-wage positions in manufacturing industries. The loss of these jobs is just the most visible tip of NAFTA’s impact on the U.S. economy. In fact, NAFTA has also contributed to rising income inequality, suppressed real wages for production workers, weakened workers’ collective bargaining powers and ability to organize unions, and reduced fringe benefits.

----------------------------------------------

Bain capital = manufactured outrage.

The massive outsourcing and downsizing during the 1990s were euphemized by Democrats from Clinton on down as "right-sizing." Yet somehow we should be up in arms about Bain?

Amy Goodman is a known Socialist. Why anyone would listen to that old wrinkle bag pinko is beyond me. Secondly, anyone who blocks roads illegally is going to be arrested. It's a matter of traffic law. Why should ANYONE be up in arms about people being arrested for blocking roads? Those protesters purposely broke the law to egg on arrest, and for some odd reason you think we should be up in arms that people are arrested for breaking the law?

Wait, you're a lefty. That explains it.

yOU SAY bain cAPITAL IS manUFACTURED RAGE.

I say your full of chit cause his money over people philosophy shows us all what kind of man he is and who he would work to help as a president.

He don't give a chit about the little guy.

How could you possibly admit that this is OK when your man Romney did this at the helm of Bain and is being asked directly by those workers to stop this and he won't. He has the power and the money invested in this Chinese company and nine otherw doing tthe same shipping jobs overseas and Romney is amking money on it.

Either woman up and admit he should not be profiting from shipping jobs overseas or crawl away like some loser who only cares about their party winning regardless of the consequences to AMERICAN WORKERS.

Yet you try to debunk my point by ignoring it and essentially repeating your opening post on this thread. My point still stands: If you're going to squeal about Bain but not NAFTA and its massively more far-reaching consequences, you're faking it.

So get to squealing. Chop chop.

I have never said NAFTA was a good idea, in fact is was one of Clinton's mistakes !

Get to telling us how bad what Romney has did with Bain ?

You won't cause you have no integrity whatsoever.

NAFTA was just one instance in which Clinton compromised with the rethugs, gave them something they wanted, and was rewarded with impeachment.

Moral: You can't compromise with these jackals (too bad Obama didn't learn that lesson.)

Right - because we know Goodman hasn't associated with the types for years. So if she hosted a radio program with Nazis frequently as guests, you wouldn't think anything, right?!

I guess it was an April Fools prank when she was the keynote speaker at Socialism 2007!

As I said about Socialism, there is the economic and social version of it. She is at minimum the social version of it, which is what "progressivism" is. She's very most likely the economic version of it as well, after all, why be the keynote speaker at a Socialism conference?!

DUH!

Nazis as guests?

Now you're reaching to really desperate degrees.

In any event, you missed my point, as usual:

Simply labeling Goodman a "socialist" or a "wrinkled old bag" isn't the same thing as refuting her arguments or challenging her factual assertions.

But understanding this distinction would require the sort of cognitive capacity/intellectual honesty that's an unknown quantity for the far right, wouldn't it?

Right - when a Democrat says something you don't like, minimize it and blame the "Rethugs" as if they put a gun to Clinton's head. Further, why didn't the Democrats move to repeal it when they had both houses?! Another invisible gun to the head?

Are Democrats normally so emasculated in office that they are held in thrall? Are their testicles sucked inside their pelvic cavities?

Truth is, Clinton openly SUPPORTED it before he got into office, and Obama pushed 3 trade agreements critics are calling similar to NAFTA. I guess either had bugs in their ears or guns to their heads in both cases, according to your unmatched, impeccable genius.

Scapegoating. 0 of 10 points for creativity.

Look at Clinton's NAFTA signing speech! CLEARLY held hostage and forced! THUGGERY!

The a-hole claimed it would bring WORLD PEACE! LMFAO!

Oh and uh - Clinton's dick defiling the office of the President is what got him impeached.

L0L!

Its obvious you have no clue re: the meanings of basic terminology and that you simply make up your own definitions as you go along.

Of course, it doesn't help that you're a typical Bush Youth whose political compass is skewed so far to the right you believe Obama is a socialist.

See there is your problem. Worried about Clinton's dick because that is what is important.

a-holes like you worrying about his dick got us two terms of Bush and now trying for Romney.

Already told you NAFTA was a mistake.

How about you admit Romney profiting from shipping jobs overseas is a mistake ?

All your bluster and BS doesn't refute my point, i.e. that NAFTA was a CONSERVATIVE IDEA.

And, for the record, yes, Clinton deserves full blame for supporting it.

No.

A witch hunt by rethugs who realized they couldn't beat Clinton any other way was what got Bill impeached.

The traitorous pukes you support were far more interested in getting Clinton than getting Bin Laden.

The irony meter is once again pegged.

Your party of thugs made Clinton's dick - not Bin Laden or al Qaeda - the nation's top priority.

The traitorous jackals you support realized they couldn't beat Clinton on a level political playing field.

Amy Goodman could be the biggest socialist in the world. She's still an award winning journalist, isn't afraid to get arrested, and doesn't smother her viewers with opinions.

Anyway, back on topic (sorry I love Amy and can't let a wingnut insult her)

Bain is shipping jobs overseas, and American workers are being forced to train their Chinese replacements. That's why they're protesting in Freeport, Illinois.

They've asked Romney to come talk to them. If he's truly a president of the 100%, as he now claims, he should make a stop.

Her opinions come out indirectly in the type of programming she airs. It's very left of center, and if you aren't of that mindset, then indeed there is a "smothering" effect. There is always a left philosophical foundation to her programming.

Funny, when I was a Marxist, I didn't think she was left enough.

That was going on during the 1990s outsourcing/downsizing era. Clinton called it "right-sizing." If it wasn't an issue then, it shouldn't be now.

Now perhaps I missed something but Romney has nothing to do with Bain anymore.

He is not making decisions there anymore. And if he owns stock in it, it is in a blind trust.

I just do not get why the 47% folks are so jealous of a guy that made it.

Perhaps if most of them would get off their asses and create something besides babble in a political side of a football forum.

How they have the time to spend so much time here and whine is beyond me.

Go out and get a job. Maybe you can grow a pair and make some money.

Let me add. I'll take out scouring any day over letting the company totally die.

Not to mention cutting the fat out of one that is unprofitable to keep it in business.

If the economy was better maybe some of the "fat jobs" would have been saved.

But most of our 47% folks are content to whine about real men making hard decisions opposed to getting into a position to make a difference.

I already made a thread about this, which Jetmeck has yet to join. Bain is a manufactured crisis and Democrats such as Clinton defended Romney's Bain record. Further, several former Bain execs have donated generously to Obama. On top of all this, Clinton's NAFTA cost us far more in terms of jobs and continues to do so. Bain simply isn't a story. It's a hoax, through and through.
