Default Why Romney Already Lost

"19% of Ohioans say they've already voted and Obama has a 76-24 advantage with them." Good luck overcoming that!

A republican has never won the WH without winning Ohio, and the electoral map almost guarantees that once again.

Haha. Romney had a really good week by becoming a pretend liberal, but he's not going to win without Ohio, and that margin is insane, pretty much impossible to overcome.

PPP isn't exactly a very non-biased site. There are a number of other states who can also claim they always vote for the winner. Invoking this is tantamount to superstition.

I don't expect a Romney win, though he has a better chance than McLame, and I assure you, I won't be going anywhere.

I will be haunting your dreams, pets...

PPP is a good pollster. U can claim they work for seiu & kos or whatever, but they also don't poll cells which cost dems a couple points. And I somewhat know Tom who runs it, and I know first hand it's a legit firm.

Obama will need the huge margin to overcome the usual GOP voter fraud point spread.

Hopefully, it won't be as bad as 2004 when OH was a repeat of FL 2000.

Ehh, Obama won the OH case in court, they decided to let black people vote this year against Husted and the GOP wishes.

I remember in 08 when Obama & Clinton were battling, and Obama nailed the caucuses and early votes and that stuff, and the media was whaaaa? That's pretty much just happened in Ohio, the most important state.

Yeah, there were other mainstream polls showing the same final number, I was waiting on this one for the already voted question. That's just a huge number with votes that have already happened!

Point was every single poll including FOX NEWS has Obama up in the state where he saved the auto industry. No one thinks he will not win OHIO but these ass clown idiots will start conspiracy theories one after the next and IGNORE THE FACTS LIKE EVERY DAMN POLL SHOWING ROMNEY LOSING THE MOST IMPORTANT STATE
THAT NO REPUBLICAN HAS EVER WON THE WHITE HOUSE WITHOUT.

Haha, I'm pretty sure we agree on everything. My point w this post just that 1 in 5 have already voted, and those votes obviously aren't going to change, and that lead makes this state pretty much off the table.

I'm sure there will be "acorn" type stories, despite them going all out to keep black people from voting. F_ck them tho, they're a dying breed.

Yep.

In fact, even Karl "Turd Blossom" Rove admitted "we don't have enough angry, uneducated white males" or words to that effect.

Poll is D+4. Which really isn't that bad. Romney is carrying Independents more than Obama is, and this poll also has Romney only getting 5% of the dem vote and Obama getting 11% of the GOP voters. Not likely...like at all.

Last months PPP poll had Romney up 1 with I's but this month he gained up to 5 points with I's. But somehow Obama gained in GOP support?

In 08 McCain got more D's than Obama got R's. Really hard to imagine with the way things are going that Obama has increased his GOP support. We're supposed to believe according to PPP that the reverse is happening now? When Obama basically won based on voter turnout in 08?

BTW - the GOP has increased their absentee ballot massively since 08.

Ohio shocker: GOP closes early voting gap, boosting Romney

Unskewed polls!!! The reason most polls don't weigh on party, is because party is like favorite color, it changes. PPP weighs on race, age, and gender, things that ya know, usually don't change on the news cycle!

Also, if Romney were getting the same support as Obama is in this poll (90/9) then it would be a 2 point race. History tells us that Romney will get same support or better.

Don't feel like working out the math, but if you're down 52 points with 20 percent already in, you have to win by an amount that is never ever going to happen (10%?)

Except that Acorn was busted so badly they went bankrupt. You act as if it was all a joke.

If you think blacks are so poor and stupid that a $4 or less voter ID will keep them disenfranchised, then you don't have a very high view of black people.

If, also, you think state ID keeps them down, then you also think that it's an act of oppression to require ID to enter federal government buildings, get on commercial airplanes, apply for jobs, cash checks, get library cards, and last but not least, attend Barack Obama speeches.

I can only hope your nickname is sarcastic.

Rasmussen (one of the most accurate in 2008) shows them a statistical tie, with Obama ahead by 1% as of Thursday.
