Nice 500th post... I remember watching this game live. One of the craziest endings ever.

The Hochuli game should also be mentioned. Cutler hitting Royal for the TD and 2-point conversion was spectacular.

Great memories. #20 one of the best of all time. Not sure why no HOF action.

In 1987 Denver's last game of the year was against SD it came in a huge snowstorm only about 24,000 fans made it to the game. Denver won the game 24-0 and won the AFC WEST and homefield advantage with a 10-4-1 record.

Let's not forget 2000. I was there @ old mile high. Many had left the stands heading into the 4th quarter. Gus Ferotte leads the Broncos with 21 points in the 4th quarter to beat the chargers 38 to 37. Gus sets the single game record for most yardage passing in a Broncos uniform. Yes Gus has it.

Always love archival Bronco footage. Thanks for the videos. Anybody have the October 1996 Chargers at Broncos?
Think we were down 17-0 in the 2nd quarter, Seau sacks Elway and gives him a forearm to the facemask. Afterward I heard he talked some **** to Elway when he was laying there, like "Time to retire old man" or something to that effect. Elway then throws 4 TDs for a 28-17 win. How many 4TD games did he even have? Would love to see that again. My favorite Sparklers at Broncos game. That team could have brought home some bling, if they'd just taken the Jaguars seriously. ![]() |
