There are mere weeks until the election, and I'd really like to do something to help progressives.
What do you guys do? Call centers, canvas on foot, donate ****loads of $$$? I want to make the most of my time. Colorado is a major swing state, and I'm coming home for a couple weeks. Any ideas would be appreciated! |

Talk politics and b**** about Obama with our Superintendents/Project Managers. Latest poll I did with them had it 100%-0% for Romney.
Argue politics with my banker buddy. Latest poll I did with bankers had it 100%-0% for Obama. Yell at those damn neighborhood kids to quit ****in with my yard sign. Call my grandpa once a week and mention Obama to get him all fired up. That's fun. Laugh at Jetmeck's predictions. Had a bumper sticker on my back window of my truck till Monday when my dad wasn't paying attention and smashed that window putting a sign through it. So I'm not doing bumper stickers anymore. Don't have the time or energy after work, family, church to do anything else beyond go on the internet. Never be a boot on the ground because I'd feel like an idiot. Wouldn't do a call center because I'm too much of a hothead. All my donating money goes to my church, which isn't much as is. |

Volunteer time and money with various charities.
Active roll in my neighborhood watch Regularly attend city council meetings. Regularly call and email city council members making them accountable and hold their feet to the fire. Regularly email and call my state legislators. Been known to contact the governors office. I keep a close eye on Hickenlooper. He was instrumental in the attempted theft of property across the front range/fast tracks project. He quietly assembled millions of dollars of land conveniently at planned light rail stops. Stay in regular contact with my friend in DC who works directly under the president. I have some ideas that I will run up the flag pole and he is going to introduce me to new president or Obama again. Planning a trip to the white house sometime after the election. Lastly waste some time here. Last edited by Meck77; 10-11-2012 at 06:55 AM.. |

Actually Ro been reading your posts for many years and there is nothing radical about them. They are consistent with the Republican and Democratic party. More debt, more war, more bailouts to the banks, more support of the global elite, big oil etc, agreements to not audit the federal reserve. Obama and Romney are pawns to all of it.
