I certainly haven't seen that...

I've seen some say he wasn't the problem and the 20 million would've improved the team more at different positions, but that's from claiming Peyton and Tim are even in the same stratosphere.

Ok let's venture there....I'm curious which FA's would these guys have signed had we not signed Manning and kept Tebow...and do you truly think the end result would have been different?

That is something to build on and few, if any, other teams on our schedule will be able to run the no-huddle with the speed and efficiency as we saw Brady run it at home last night.

Brees and NO might come close on offense, if we make no improvements in coverage and pressure on 3rd downs by then, though no doubt we will. However, that game is at Mile High, not the Superdome and their defense is a true sieve.

We do need to take care of business next Monday night and go into the bye in sole possession of first place in the division, having the tie breaker San Diego.

In any event, these clowns on the mane now that are b****in' and moanin' like the little pussies they so obviously are, are meaningless and contribute little of value here in any event. Don't pay them any attention at all .. that's what 'ignore' is for.

We could add a rule that if a given relative newbie poster earns a certain large number of 'ignores' from the bulk of long time loyal OMers, then they are toast. That might be one way to deal with the more obvious and obnoxious little whiners? But otherwise, just ignore them and they will shrivel up and blow away to greener pastures at some point.

Virtually none. It was a free-agent exodus before Manning came on board (Lloyd, Royal, Bunkley, Larsen, Fells)

I just stay away from this place after a loss. I let the trolls have their fun do and cherry pick the threads I read. Usually by thursday you can come in and talk football and I hope for a Broncos' victory on Sunday that usually gets rid of the trolls for the most part.

Guys like Tulloch/Lofton would've been a huge upgrade to our largest area of need. Then you have All-Pros who are the tops of their positions in weak areas for Denver with Carl Nicks and Reggie Wayne.

You could've gotten all three of the above AND Michael Bush for Peyton's price tag.

- Can't win the big one

If you think any legit WR or TE signs here with Tebow, you are crazy. I could see a RB or OL given the running game we had.

Nearly all of us wanted a MLB. I would say that the $4M/yr they gave Mays would say that the $5.5M/yr that Lofton and Tulloch got wasnt out of the price range (ie due to Manning). They just thought that Mays was a better value... and were DEAD wrong

More than the editorial, however, I'd like to see more analysis of why a fan would editorialize as such - and to that end, I've asked him to do so. My first instinct is not to ban for editorial - but at some point empty editorializing becomes trolling. So we'll see...

Discussions aren't typically about everyone agreeing with each other.

I agree, but what is funny is the people you only see after loses that really are hear just trolling. No_Broncos, LostKnight are two I can think of. Anyway, I'm not a fan of banning just to ban people. I have not yet figured out how to put someone on ignore. It seems to be beyond my reasoning level.

Calling Champ Chump is one thing

Calling Champ "lazy for the last 4-5 years" was the most ignorant statement I have ever read on this board. When you don't get thrown at except 2-3 times a game and still have the mental makeup to stay in the game on every play Champ would never be called lazy by anyone with .001 % of football IQ.

I would have banned him just on that comment alone. That to me is "empty editorizing" and adds zero value to the board
