I know most of you are going to say he had a couple of fumbles this season, but seriously, this kid is looking like the next superstar wide reciever in the NFL. It's only his second season being healthy and actually has a real QB throwing him the football. I can't wait to see how this kid is going to develop into the next couple of years. Great size, athleticism, speed, and big play potential.

Seriously. We all get mad during the game (I do and I'm sure everyone else too), but you can't keep hating all the time. He's a young player, he's not going to fumble regularly.

He's on pace for 10 fumbles this year. No WR in the league had more than 3 last year. Continue to give him props though.

It was more of a commentary on how Denver just sucks at getting turnovers in general.....Even the studs. Not even close to the douches comments above. ^^^ |

Need to run better routes, stop dropping catchable balls, and secure the ball better. Get all that down and he could be something special.

PS.....DT Is a ****ing stud.
The switching hands fumble last week is just one of those things & yesterday was just a great play by the defender. Thanks Josh for passing on Dez. |

The guy is still developing and already possesses physical skill on par with only the elite wr's in the league. He's a guy that can score from ANYWHERE, and that is something denver has not had in ages.
Gamechangers don't grow on trees. I'm sure he knows what his current weaknesses are. Let's see how he addresses them both during the season and after his trip to the pro bowl. |

IIRC he had a high Wonderlick score at the combine and was a leader on his college team everything I heard about his interviews was he was a bright intelligent guy..
let not be childish and call a guy dumb for trying to switch hands to the outside hand last week and this past week well name me a guy in that has carried the ball in the NFL and has not fumbled it.. Dumb and making a mistake are two different animals.. |

I'm treating this like his rookie year. Between the lockout, the Orton saga, and the Tebow madness he just hasn't had a chance to develop.
Now he has a QB who is getting him the ball in space and we're seeing that he's a really special talent. Brandon Marshall had real issues with ball security early on, and this seems like very much the same thing. He's only going to get better. |

The Pats DB got a lucky poke on the ball before Thomas had time to secure it. That's the only reason Thomas wasn't in the end zone. His fumbles will normalize with time. He's the biggest playmaker on our offense. He's vital to this teams' future success. |

DT is a DC's nightmare. Hatin the fumbles right now but Manning gets him the ball and he has a chance to take it to the house on any play
This team would be freakin unstoppable with a Percy Harvin in the slot. Offense is not the issue. Getting off the field on 3rd down to give the ball back to Manning and co is the issue right now Pats couldn't really stop Denver yesterday. 3 turnovers in the red zone and still had a chance . |

I agree, and that is why I never jumped on the cut him bandwagon, like I'm tempted to do with McGahee.

If he starts to play fundamentally sound football, the sky is the limit. But his fundamentals are a long way away

The kid just drips with talent. Those that are seeing it develop are enjoying the experience
Those that only see the (easily correctable) fumbles are not enjoying the experience. Which one are you? Last edited by baja; 10-08-2012 at 04:38 PM.. |
