Different year, different QB, same result. We've been having these conversations for how long?
It's not the QB all the time, guys. NE ran the ball at will and controlled the pace of the game. We couldn't run the ball, and were reduced to constant passing-only situations. It's a work in progress. Today was disheartening, only because it's just the same old same old. I'm still holding out hope that this team will gel as the season goes on, and we'll see a more competitive team down the stretch. |

Broncos vs Pats 2011 playoff game 45-10
Broncos vs Pats 2012 reg season game 21-31 McGahee fumble away from being 3 point game. yep exactly the same... What the **** did people expect an undefeated season? Did you people look at the season schedule at all before the season started? Its ****ing brutal. They just need to get into the playoffs, not go undefeated. They have lost close games to 3 sure bet playoff teams, beat the Steelers (a possible playoff team), and completely destroyed a division rival. How about we wait and see how they do next week against the team they will be competing with for the division before going into meltdown mode. |

Yes, it's almost like Denver changed QBs for the umpteenth time instead of fixing the defense or something.

I was and am a fan of Tebow, but I agree with you that he was probably not the answer. What pisses me off is the fans who throw him under the bus and completely blame him for the issues with this team. It is obvious he was not the sole problem.

I wont blame him for these issues, i loved watching last season. One of the most fun ive had as a broncos fan. But hes just not a QB.

Peyton automatically makes us a SB contender. so much so that we can draft a project QB in the 2nd round instead of actual defensive help. if you can't see this, it's only because you are a Teboner. /sarc |

I for one thought each of the 2 losses to the Patsy's were way more embarrasing than todays. Hell we still had a shot late. Turnovers and run D killed us today, not QB play. If anything Manning looked very good throwing the ball today.

This team got it's butt kicked by a sixth round QB today. I honestly think a "random" pick of the top 60 college prospects would have likely given the team somebody better than some of the scrubs on this team. Or at least not have been any worse. They shouldn't be "random" picks if they are actually evaluating the players though, right? |

Kyle Orton isn't Tom Brady.....Tim Tebow isn't Tom Brady. Teams that play against Tom Brady generally lose to Tom Brady....his winning pct. is like .750 in regular season.... |

Classic. Make a post about how the team's scapegoat of a QB, and the defense was, and it turns into yet another QB post.

For the record nobody said Tebow was "the problem" with our team last season....
People were pissed he couldn't throw the ball very well, and that he struggled to read defenses at the NFL level. However when a franchise future HoF QB became a free agent, and you have a chance to sign him, you do it because he's a better player than the other guy you had playing QB. signing Manning put us closer to contending for a SB title.....and his play this season so far justifies his being signed. We do need to fix the defensive problems we're facing though.... |

The problem is, and always has been, the defense...nothing to do with offense. When was the last time you felt confidence when our D was on the field? I honestly don't remember...

No way. We were completely owning in that first Pats game until we shat the bed in the 2nd quarter. 3 Fumbles that led to quick Pats points (including that stupid punt return screw up that gave them 3 right at the end of the half)? We probably lose that game anyways because of our D, but we started at least as good as we did today.
